Today I will love to share this beautiful tutorial on how I made this lovely piece to celebrate my birthday last month I bought 4 trouser yards of this material because have in mind that I will make a dress for myself, my daughter and my husband , luckily I was able to achieve that and it was only shirt I sown for him but same style for my self and my daughter.
Cutting process
I firstly cut the trouser part and I measured the length to be 40” then my hips is 11” folded cross depth is 12” after cutting the trouser I cut out the pockets.
After cutting the trouser I measured the length of the the top to be 35” and the sleeve is cut together with the shoulder then I measured from shoulder to sleeve 20” then the burst is 14 “ plus sewing allowance and the neck depth is 6” by 4” after cutting the bodices then I measured 5” from the center front upward to the waist in order to create the loop case and during sewing I attached band in side the dress at the front part to hold the the waistline 😀🥰.
Sewing process
After cutting I weave all the edges and sown and it came out beautiful on me when I wore it and my husband took me out to celebrate my birthday 🥳 and I really enjoyed my self wearing same outfit with my daughter .
