Good day friends how are you all doing I hope you all are having a a nice time with your family.

Today I want to share this cute top I made for my self, I made this top out of pieces of material my cousin used to sew a gown for her self so she gave me the remaining material to sew a dress for my daughter but I end up sewing for my self 😜, I wanted to attend a friend birthday party and I don’t know what to wear so I quickly cut this simple top and join at close hour to the time I’m going out and it came out beautiful 🀩.

Have been seeing this style online and I said to my self I will give it a shot one day, it a kimono top with big waist band and elastic at the shoulder .

I folded the material into four then I measure 12” under burst measurement and I measured 18” from the shoulder to sleeve length after then I cut out the neck I measured 3” width and 6” length then the back neckline is 1” length.

After cutting from shoulder to under burst I cut out the band 7” lengths then the width is my waist measurement because there is zipper at the back.

Sewing step

I sew a gather stitch at the waist part so that it will be equal with the band then I join the side and I fixed the zipper at the back.

The top came out beautiful when I wore it and it look unique I love it 😍 I can wear it with trouser or sket 😁.
