Hello needleworker,
How are you all doing today happy new week to you all how is your families, I pray this week is blessed for me and you in Jesus name amen ๐.
Today I will love to share with you all how I made this beautiful outfit for myself and my daughter, this style is mostly sown with material and crepe fabrics but I was inspired by this style and have not sew it before this is my first attempt and I decided to sew it with the Ankara print I have and the end result came out pretty well๐คฉ.
Cutting step
I folded the material into four then I measure the length of the gown 38โ and I took out 5โ for the off shoulder sleeve then I measured 4โ from the center part from the down part to the hips line and I went down by 4โ from the hips line to get the curve then I cut out the pieces then I place it on the fabric to get the back piece .
After cutting the bodices of the gown I cut out a straight piece for the side ruffles and I place the curve side of the gown on the straight piece to get the side curve edges and then I cut out the sleeve then i measured from the shoulder to the under-burst to out satin for the burst ruffles and the combination was so beautiful ๐.
