Needlework Monday ( diy on how I made Ankara cargo pants with side pockets for my sister in-law)

Today I will love to share this stylish and creative Ankara two piece, cargo pant with side pocket I made for my sister in-law, she called me to come and pick some fabrics that she want to travel and she needed to sew new dresses and this Ankara is one of the dress I made for her and she look so beautiful when she wore it.

I measured the trouser length to be 44” plus folding allowance then I curve the side of the trouser to give it nice shape after then I measured 12” for the flap then the waist line is divided into 4 and the hips after cutting the front piece the I place on the remaining fabrics to cut the back piece which is bigger that the front pieces then I cut out the top .

I folded the fabrics into four then I cut the back and front of the blouse together I measured 10” for the shoulder and the burst is 12” plus 4” sewing allowance after then I measured the neckline the back neckline 1.5” depth and 4” width then the front is 4” width, 6” depth and I folded 1.5” for the zipper allowance at the front.

After sewing the top and trouser and it came out beautiful and simple and it look good on her πŸ₯°.
