Hello, everyone! After a week of being a little inactive, here I am again with another contribution to the Splinterlands team's Social Media Challenge initiative.
¡Hola a todos! Después de una semana que he estado un poco inactivo, aqui estoy de nuevo con otra participación en la iniciativa de Social Media Challenge del equipo de Splinterlands.
In my last post, I took the opportunity to finish upgrading all the cards I had accumulated up to the Gladiator set. Luckily, I had accumulated a lot and managed to get most of them to a high level.
One of the most important news items of the week was the release of the new Arcane Conclave reward set, with quite a few interesting cards to use in battles.
En la ultima publicación, he aprovechado para terminar de mejorar todas las cartas que habia acumulado hasta el momento del set Gladiator. Por suerte, he acumulado un montón y he logrado llevar a un nivel alto a la mayoria de ellas.
Una de las noticias más importantes de la semana fue que salió el nuevo set de recompensas de Conclave Arcana, con bastantes cartas interesantes para utilizar en las batallas.
It wasn't the best news for me, mainly because I hadn't been able to fully upgrade the common and rare cards in the Rebellion set to the maximum level, and they would remain at an intermediate/high level, which wouldn't allow me to compete at the highest level.
The change was made mid-season, so I didn't hesitate to spend all the GLINT I had at the time on rare cards from the Rebellion reward set. With that opening, plus what I had accumulated through chests over the last month, this is a master list of all the cards I got:
No ha sido la mejor noticia para mi, principalmente porque no habia podido terminar de mejorar a nivel máximo las cartas comunes y raras del set Rebellion y me quedarian en un nivel intermedio/alto, pero que no me serviria para competir al máximo nivel.
El cambio se hizo a mitad de temporada, asi que no dude en aprovechar en gastar todo el GLINT que tenia en ese momento, en cartas raras del set de recompensas de Rebellion. Con ese opening, más lo que habia acumulando mediante cofres en este ultimo mes, esta es una maestra de todas las cartas que consegui:
I only had enough to upgrade all my common or rare cards, as I hadn't gotten enough of the other rarities to upgrade any. I'll take this opportunity to show you which cards I upgraded and whether I usually use them in any battle strategies.
Let's start with one of my most used cards: Drybone Hobgoblin. In my opinion, it's almost a copy of another card from the Chaos Legion set, a troll that attacks from the second position and does a considerable amount of damage. The only downside to this one is that it deals much less damage and doesn't progress as much in melee attack when leveling up.
Sólo tenia para mejorar todas mis cartas de rareza común o rara, ya que no habia conseguido las suficientes de las demás rarezas para subir alguna. Aprovecharé para mostrarle que carta fui mejorando y si la suelo implementar en alguna estrategia de batalla.
Empezamos con una de mis más utilizadas: Drybone Hobgoblin. En mi opinion, es una carta casi copia de otra que tiene el set Chaos Legion de un troll que ataca desde la segunda posición y hace una cantidad considerable de daño. La única contra que tiene esta, es que inflige mucho menos daño y no progresa tanto en ataque cuerpo a cuerpo al subirla de nivel.
Chaos Evoker is another common fire element card from the Rebellion set, with stats that are nothing to write home about, even at maximum levels.
In the end, I only managed to get it up to level 7, where I got +1 to its maximum health.
Chaos Evoker es otra carta común del elemento de fuego del set Rebellion, que cuenta con unas estadisticas que no son del otro mundo, incluso casi en niveles máximos.
Finalmente, solo he logrado subirla hasta nivel 7, dónde obtuve +1 en su vida máxima.
Drybone Megalodon is a rare fire element card that I use quite often. It has good base stats, but what's interesting is that it allows the unit behind it to attack from that position.
I've finally managed to get this card to level 7 out of 8, which isn't too bad, and not reaching the maximum level won't affect me too much.
Drybone Megalodon es una carta rara del elemento de fuego, que suelo utilizar con bastante frecuencia. Tiene unas estadisticas base buenas, pero lo interesante es que permité a la unidad que esta detras de él atacar desde esa posición.
Para esta carta, he logrado llevarla finalmente a nivel 7 de 8, lo que no esta tan mal y no me afectara tanto no haber llegado al máximo.
Giant Alpine Skink is a common water element card. I don't use it very often because, despite having good base stats for tanking, it doesn't end up being that great.
Giant Alpine Skink es una carta común del elemento de agua. No suelo utilizarla en casi ninguna ocasión, ya que, a pesar de tener buenas estadísticas base para tanquear, no termina siendo gran cosa.
Mar Toren Trader is one of the strongest common cards in the Rebellion reward set. It has a fairly accessible mana cost and provides pretty good stats in return.
I managed to level it up from 5 to 7, leaving me just three levels away from maxing it out. It's a shame, because if I want to compete at high elos, I'll have to rent it at its maximum potential.
Mar Toren Trader es una de las cartas comunes más fuerte del set de recompensas Rebellion. Cuenta con un costé de mana bastante accesible y otorga unas estadisticas bastante buenas a cambio.
Logré subirla de nivel 5 al 7, quedandome a tan solo tres niveles de tenerla maxeada. Es una lastima, debido a que si quiero competir en elos altos, tendré que rentarla con su maximo potencial.
Halaran Huntress is a pretty strong earth element card. It has a low mana cost and gives pretty high melee attack stats and the ability to attack other troops from behind.
With the cards I accumulated, I managed to level her up from 5 to 7, as has been the case with the last few I've brought. Luckily, I got +1 to her melee attack, which makes her quite usable at high elos despite not being at her maximum level.
Halaran Huntress es una carta bastante fuerte del elemento de tierra. Tiene un coste de maná bajo y otorga estadisticas de ataque cuerpo a cuerpo bastantes altas y con la capacidad de atacar a otras tropas desde atras.
Con las cartas que acumulé, logre subirla de nivel 5 a 7, como viene pasando con las ultimas que he traido. Por suerte, obtuve +1 en su ataque cuerpo a cuerpo, lo que la vuelve bastante usable en elos altos a pesar de no tener su nivel máximo.
Blackmoor Wild Elf is a regular earth element card. I use it frequently, as its mana cost is in line with its stats. Despite this, I don't consider it to be a particularly outstanding card.
Blackmoor Wild Elf es una carta regular del elemento de tierra. La suelo utilizar frecuentemente, ya que tiene un coste de maná que es acorde a sus estadisticas. A pesar de esto, no considero que es una carta que destaque demasiado.
Quilliun Legionary is an earth element card that stands out for its tanking ability. It has a fairly high maximum health and abilities that allow it to deal damage from a distance from the front line, making it great for placing in front of any ranged unit you want to protect.
Quilliun Legionary es una carta del elemento de tierra que destaca por su capacidad para tanquear. Tiene una vida máxima bastante alta y cuenta con habilidades que le permiten ejercer daño a distancia desde la primera posición, lo que la pone genial para poner delante de cualquier unidad a distancia que quieras cuidar.
Broken Earth Thug is undoubtedly the most broken common card in the death element. It has a very low mana cost and fairly good stats for dealing damage from a more rearward position.
Broken Earth Thug es sin duda la carta común mas rota que hay del elemento de muerte. Tiene un coste de maná muy bajo y cuenta con estadisticas bastantes buenas para hacer daño desde una posición mas retrasada.
To finish upgrading all my cards from the Rebellion set, we have to talk about one of my most used cards, which I even use in Wild Ranked. I'm talking about Ujurak Elder, a card that costs a mere 3 mana and gives you great base stats.
On top of that, it has an ability that I consider to be quite broken, granting +1 maximum health to all allies.
Para finalizar con el upgrade de todas mis cartas del set Rebellion, tenemos que hablar sobre una de mis cartas más utilizadas, que incluso suelo usarla en Wild Ranked. Estoy hablando de Ujurak Elder, una carta que cuesta la infima cantidad de 3 de maná y que otorga estadisticas bases buenisimas.
Sumado a eso, tiene una habilidad que considero que esta bastante rota, que le otorga un +1 de vida máxima a todos los aliados.
I wasn't able to upgrade all the cards to their maximum potential as I had hoped, but at least I got them to a point where they can be used comfortably in ranks such as Gold.

No he podido mejorar todas las cartas al máximo como lo esperaba, pero por lo menos las he dejado en un estado para poder utilizar comodamente en rangos como Oro.
