In this space I will be giving away STARBITS, sharing my experience with a song, telling how I discovered it, and providing interesting information about it. Then I will include several tables with statistics of the Rising Star game.
Starting in May, I started to create a playlist to keep track of the last songs I commented on in my posts. It will be useful for me not to doubt if I had already talked about a song before or not. The last song is Adventure of a Lifetime of the iconic band Coldplay.
What is Love: Haddaway
My song of choice on Spotify for today's post is What is Love of the artist Haddaway.
My choice today, comes completely influenced again by the world of video games. Thanks to them, I have discovered a lot of great music over the years that I wouldn't have known otherwise, either because of a generational issue or because of a foreign artist without so much recognition.
It all started about seven years ago, when I was bored on my PlayStation and decided to check out the games available with the PlayStation Plus subscription. One of them particularly caught my attention: Saints Row IV. I had a slight idea of the saga: a sort of Grand Theft Auto, but with a much more comical approach and where nothing is taken seriously.
One of the characteristics of this game is that it had a very good soundtrack that accompanied the epic scenes of the game. I remember that in the introduction I Don't Want to Miss a Thing, by Aerosmith (thanks to that I knew the song), and also others like What Is Love, by Haddaway, that sounded while you were flying in an alien ship.

Haddaway (Nestor Alexander Haddaway) is an artist originally from Trinidad and Tobago, raised in the United States. On his debut album, titled The Album, he scored what would be the biggest hit of his career: “What Is Love”. The song debuted at #2 in the UK and reached #11 in the US, becoming a Eurodance anthem during the 1990s.

Before announcing the winner of tonight's giveaway. I will share my game statistics on Rising Star, which I gathered using a tool that I created in Rising Star Utils. However, the application didn't always work, so this time we will be using a Discord bot that is in charge of returning a winner from among all the comments on a Hive post.
