Good evening everyone!
In this section, I will no longer be handing out STARBITS, as those entries are not allowed. However, I will continue to share high-quality songs, share how I discovered them, and share some interesting facts about them. To top it all off, I will also include several tables with the statistics compiled by the Rising Star game.
Since May, I have been creating a playlist to keep track of the latest songs I have discussed in my posts. This will help me remember whether I have already talked about a song before or not. The most recent one is Young Turks from the succesfull artist Rod Stewart.
What's Up: 4 Non Blondes
My song of choice on Spotify for today's post is What's Up from the band 4 Non Blondes
The other day I was looking for some new songs that I had forgotten to add to my “Likes” on Spotify. So I started searching through one of my playlists where I had epic songs from the 70s, 80s, and 90s, featuring artists such as Aerosmith, Toto, Gorillaz, Collio, John Newman, and others.
Spotify has a feature that they added a while ago that allows you to see recommended songs to add to your playlist based on the type of songs you have. That feature was really good. I ended up discovering quite a few songs that I had heard once or twice but didn't know the artist or the name.
One of the songs that caught my attention the most was one called What's Up. It was a song I had heard recently, as I had unlocked it in Rocket League so that it would play every time I made a notable play. It had really caught my attention after hearing those few seconds in the game, but I had never been curious enough to look it up.
So when I found it recommended on Spotify, I had the opportunity to listen to the whole song and I ended up loving it. I think it's been one of the songs I've played the most lately, and that's because I really consider it a work of art.

4 Non Blondes was an American alternative rock band from the 1990s. It consisted of vocalist Linda Perry, bassist Christa Hillhouse, guitarist Roger Rocha, and drummer Dawn Richardson.
In 1992, they released their first studio album, Bigger, Better, Faster, More!, which was a huge success. Much of this success is due to the inclusion of what would become the band's most iconic song: "What's Up."
However, despite the success of their first album, they would disband a few years later due to creative differences. Of the band members, only Linda Perry continued to have a moderately successful career, later dedicating herself to music production.
