Good evening everyone!
In this section, I will no longer be handing out STARBITS, as those entries are not allowed. However, I will continue to share high-quality songs, share how I discovered them, and share some interesting facts about them. To top it all off, I will also include several tables with the statistics compiled by the Rising Star game.
Since May, I have been creating a playlist to keep track of the latest songs I have discussed in my posts. This will help me remember whether I have already talked about a song before or not. The most recent one is Plateado sobre Plateado of the legendary artist Charly Garcia.
Young Turks: Rod Stewart
My song of choice on Spotify for today's post is Young Turks from the succesfull artist Rod Stewart.
I discovered today's choice thanks to the influence of one of the video games from my childhood. When I talk about video games, I always mention how important they are in conveying music to players, whether to accompany an epic scene or a video game menu.
I have enjoyed many games that have had an impeccable soundtrack and that drew you into the atmosphere of the game, such as Bloodborne, The Witcher 3, and Kingdom Come Deliverance. I have also discovered alternative artists thanks to sagas such as FIFA and Rocket League. At the same time, I have also discovered a lot of old music thanks to sagas such as Fallout and the one I am going to talk about today: Grand Theft Auto.
The music in Grand Theft Auto comes as part of a group of radio stations that play songs from different genres. The one I enjoyed the most was GTA San Andreas, since at that time it wasn't so expensive to acquire music licenses and they were full of hits. There was a wide variety of stations, from Country, Pop, Rock, Hip-Hop to many other genres.

One of my favorite international rock songs, which I discovered thanks to the radio station K-DST, which played a lot of rock classics. Along with Hold The Line by Toto, it became one of my favorites from that era.
I remember one day, bored on YouTube, I came across several videos of songs from the game accompanied by gameplay. One of them was the song Young Turks, where they used the cheat to fly with the cars and drove through the sky in a hippie van.
Discovering this song also led me to continue researching Rod Stewart, and I found two songs that are among my favorites: Da Ya Think I'm Sexy and Maggie May. This ultimately justifies my previous point about how important video games are in passing on music from other generations to new ones.
