After a great recovery, I was pretty sick for a while, but now I am strong. I wanted to indulge myself in a project.
What is the project about?
I wanted to build a server that allows both Java and Bedrock to come together and play in the same world we all know Mojang doesn't allow both parties to play thanks to the help of some coding genius they developed a third-party app that allows it.
Here comes the real challenges it sounds easy as it comes from my mouth but truth be told even after the creation we have a lot of work to input to make the server they created the app we have to do some maths let me call it like that to make it work.
I usually like challenges but the foolish me doesn't know anything about coding so like any normal human I have to learn it now comes the question? ***What does midnight sound like to you? Since I was interested in this project I had to learn everything about coding the game and server to enable me to let both users (Java/Bedrock) come and play together in the same world so for me the best time to learn is during the night cause I found it peaceful to read and no distractions when I mean distraction zero tolerance distraction.
Since am a newbie it's a project that demands my full focus so the night was probably the best time for me to learn it all, I indulge myself at night to practice and the day to whatever works that call for me to do etc
INSIGHTS ABOUT THE PROJECT
- Build a Discord Bot that Works with the Game it tells when a players come online and also goes offline and also some other properties
- Server: it allows both Java/bedrock to join one server using the following one single IP address and port to connect to both which demands some plugins such as Geyser, Floodgate
- I also did some additional attributes when new players come into the server they receive a temporary boost (5 min) to keep them running on the server.
There are some online battles also which players can indulge in and gain enchanted items they can choose to buy them with real money or join an event whichever way they like.
That it so far there are lots more still working on to make the server perform much better and every player can enjoy their time playing the game.
I was able to do all these and still doing thanks to the midnight silent peace it looks like it sounds easy as it seems it but it doesn't it requires concentration and focus if it was during the day I would have make a lot of mistake and wondering where I went wrong cause while setting it up I was also checking for errors bound to happen once it's working and it been going great soon I be writing a post and sharing link to everyone who want to join.
In one word if a sacred night for focus and concentration to me no distraction of any kind.
