The elephant grass is a very good grass or weed that is being used mainly for feeding animals either in the morning and afternoon or late in the evening but I will advise any farmer that it is best used in the afternoon or late in the evening and this is simply because there are some predators that are already attached to the leaves of the grasses which may bring one injury or the other to your animal either big animal or smaller animal just like in the case of rabbit. Rabbit love this weed and it is mostly used by animal farmers likewise for those that keep grass cutter I have seen so many farmer colleagues with this plant while using it to feed their grass cutter.
In the video I explained more better why it is important to even have it in your agricultural farmyard,your compound or your garden. But it must not occupy too much space. The reason being that it easily spread within few months. Practically speaking I have observed it and that is how it works.
