Today, I want to share the story behind a special photoshoot.
When Mayelín contacted me for a photo session, she made it very clear what she didn’t want. And you know, we often assume that it’s young people who get to show off or share how well their life is going.
Well, she’s had her ups and downs, but her birthday was coming up, and she wanted to celebrate herself. Yes — celebrate the positive attitude she’s kept through good times and bad, celebrate not giving in to sorrow but choosing to enjoy her life, embracing whatever the universe placed in her path.
And that’s exactly what we did. The best part? She truly enjoyed it and loved the results. For me, that’s worth more than anything — seeing the joy on her face at the end is something no amount of money in the world can buy. It’s that little grain of sand I love contributing to this world from time to time, and I hope it makes a difference.

Qué tal, hivers? 👋🏾 En estos días estoy de vacaciones, ya les contaré en un próximo post 🙏🏾 Hoy les quiero contar sobre una sesión peculiar. Cuando Mayelín me contactó para realizarle una sesión de fotos me dejó claro lo que no quería. Y es que uno está acostumbrado a que son las personas jóvenes las que pueden presumir o compartir con todos lo bien que va su vida.
Pues ella había tenido sus altibajos, pero se acercaba su cumpleaños y quería celebrarse. Sí, quería celebrar la actitud positiva que ha mantenido en sus buenos y malos momentos, celebrar que no se valía echarse a sufrir sino disfrutar su vida aceptando lo que el universo podría haberle puesto en el camino.
Y pues eso hicimos y lo mejor de todo es que la disfrutó mucho y le encantó el resultado. Eso para mí vale más que cualquier cosa, ver la alegría en su rostro al final es algo que no paga ningún dinero en la faz de la Tierra. Es el granito de arena que me encanta poner de vez en cuando en este mundo y espero que sirva de algo.
