🌺Hibiscus flower in cold porcelain (esp/eng)

¡Hola mis queridos amigos creativos de Hive! Hoy vengo emocionada a participar en el concurso activo de la comunidad [Tropical Vibes (Hivefest 10 inspired)](https://ecency.com/hive-189641/@diyhub/october-contest-tropical-vibes-hivefest), es por ello que en esta ocasión quiero mostrarles una hermosa flor de Hibisco (en mi país la llamamos Cayena) en porcelana fría. Me sentía muy insegura al inicio cuando me planteaba esta idea, pero una vez que la inicié fui sumamente feliz, disfruté cada paso en su realización, así que acompáñame en este post e inspírate con el ambiente tropical. >Hello my dear creative friends of Hive! I felt very insecure at the beginning when I was considering this idea, but once I started it I was extremely happy, I enjoyed every step in its realization, so join me in this post and get inspired by the tropical atmosphere.  _{Imagen creada por mí en Canva / Image created by me in Canva} ### Materiales: * Porcelana fría roja * Pinturas al frío Vinotinto y amarilla * Alfiler * Cadena *Alicates de bisutería * Estecas * Top coat * Lámpara UV/LE * Pincel ### Procedimiento: Iniciamos formando un cilindro de porcelana fría, de éste, cortaremos porciones tratando que sean del grosor más similar posible, puesto que estos corresponderán a los pétalos de la flor, por lo que sus tamaños deben ser muy parecidos aunque no perfectamente iguales. >### Materials: > >* Red cold porcelain >* Vinotint and yellow cold paints >* Pin >* Chain >*Jewelry pliers >* Pins >* Top coat >* UV/LED lamp >* Brush >### Procedure: > >We start by forming a cylinder of cold porcelain, from this, we will cut portions trying to make them as similar in thickness as possible, since these will correspond to the petals of the flower, so their sizes should be very similar although not perfectly equal.  |  --- | --- _{Porciones para pétalos / Portions for petals} Cada una de estas porciones las moldearemos dándoles forma de gota, ya que los pétalos suelen ser más delgados hacia el centro de la flor y luego, los aplanaremos haciendo presión con algún elemento de superficie plana, esta presión debe aplicada de la manera más uniforme posible para que todos los pétalos tengan el mismo grosor. > Each of these portions we will mold them giving them a drop shape, since the petals are usually thinner towards the center of the flower and then, we will flatten them making pressure with some element of flat surface, this pressure must be applied in the most uniform way possible so that all the petals have the same thickness.  |  --- | --- _{Formando los pétalos / Forming the petals} Acto seguido, tomaremos uno de los pétalos y lo colocaremos sobre una superficie de trabajo que nos sea cómoda y con la esteca tipo punzón lo “rayaremos” asemejando con estas líneas la textura de los pétalos de la flor. > Next, we will take one of the petals and place it on a work surface that is comfortable for us and with the punch we will “scratch” it, resembling with these lines the texture of the petals of the flower.  _{Textura de pétalos / Petal texture} Así iremos agregando pétalos uno por uno y superponiéndolos un poco sobre el costado del anterior y haciendo la textura con el punzón sucesivamente hasta completar cinco pétalos que se vean unidos al centro. También es muy importante darles esa forma como de pequeñas curvas o ribete ondulado característico de estas flores, éste lo formamos haciendo una pequeña presión con el mismo punzón con pequeñas distancias de separación entre ellos. > Thus we will add petals one by one and overlapping them a little on the side of the previous one and making the texture with the punch successively until completing five petals that look united in the center. It is also very important to give them that shape of small curves or wavy border characteristic of these flowers, this we form by making a small pressure with the same punch with small distances of separation between them.  |  --- | --- _{Detalles de los pétalos / Petal details} Ahora con el punzón de esfera de tamaño pequeño, aplicamos un poco de presión al centro para así formar el hundimiento también típico de las cayenas, ya que son un poco como campana. > Now, with the small sphere punch, we apply a little pressure to the center to form the typical sinking of the cayenne, since they are a bit like a bell.  _{Hundimiento al centro / Sinking to the center} Ha llegado el momento que más me asustaba, no le tenía fe a mi propio proceso (risas), el pistilo y para ello, formamos un cilindro súper delgadito y cortamos con un cúter o bisturí el largo que requerimos y con esta misma herramienta lo posicionamos al centro de la flor, como saliendo del hundimiento. > The moment that scared me the most has arrived, I had no faith in my own process (laughs), the pistil and for this, we form a super thin cylinder and cut with a cutter or scalpel the length we require and with this same tool we position it in the center of the flower, as if coming out of the sinking.  |  --- | --- _{Pistilo / Pistil} Para la parte del polen, que es una de las cosas más llamativas de esta flor, formamos una gotita gorda pero en tamaño minúsculo, con el punzón lo posicionamos en el extremo del pistilo y con el mismo punzón le hacemos muchos agujeritos para aportar esa textura del polen. > For the part of the pollen, which is one of the most striking things of this flower, we form a fat droplet but in tiny size, with the awl we position it at the end of the pistil and with the same awl we make many small holes to provide that texture of pollen.  |  --- | --- _{Polen / Pollen} Finalmente, con el punzón hacemos un agujero en la parte superior del pétalo y lo dejamos secar. > Finally, with the punch we make a hole in the upper part of the petal and let it dry.  _{Agujero / Hole} Ya estando seca la pieza, procedemos a pintarla. Con Vinotinto, vamos remarcando con un pincel muy delgado las texturas de los pétalos, pero al tiempo que aplicamos algo de pintura inmediatamente lo diluimos con agua para que no quede muy marcado sino como sombras, solo para realzar la textura. En el centro de la flor sí aplicamos la pintura pura para mayor efecto de profundidad. Y en el caso del polen pintamos con un bonito y llamativo amarillo. > Once the piece is dry, we proceed to paint it. With Vinotinto, we highlight with a very thin brush the textures of the petals, but while we apply some paint immediately we dilute it with water so that it is not very marked but as shadows, just to enhance the texture. In the center of the flower we do apply the pure paint for more depth effect. And in the case of the pollen we paint with a nice and striking yellow.  |  --- | ---  |  --- | --- _{Pintamos / We paint} Finalizamos barnizando toda la superficie con top coat y curando en lámpara, luego pasamos un alfilesr a través del agujero y con el resto del alambre formamos un rizo con los alicates, por medio de él pasamos una hermosa cadena y ¡listo! Tenemos un impresionante, elegante y delicado collar tropical. > We finish varnishing the entire surface with top coat and curing in a lamp, then we pass a pin through the hole and with the rest of the wire we form a curl with the pliers, through it we pass a beautiful chain and that's it! We have a stunning, elegant and delicate tropical necklace.  |  --- | ---  |  --- | ---  _{Resultado final / Final result} Y obviamente me tenía que probar mi propia creación (risas).
