¡Hola mis queridos Hivers creativos! Hoy quiero compartirles mi más reciente trabajo, un personaje que se ha vuelto muy popular últimamente y que debo confesar que, aunque no me pareció lindo a primera vista, ya empieza a gustarme (risas). Se trata de un Labubu, esos pequeños muñecos de aspecto monstruoso y tierno a la vez. Lo que me hacía más ilusión con esta figura era lograr la textura, puesto que son una especie de peluche cuyo rostro es de material liso, así que acompáñame en esta nueva aventura y aprende a hacer tu propio Labubu en porcelana fría.
Hello my dear creative Hivers! Today I want to share with you my latest work, a character that has become very popular lately and that I must confess that, although I didn't think it was cute at first sight, I'm starting to like it (laughs). It's a Labubu, those little dolls that look monstrous and cute at the same time. What I was most excited about with this figure was to achieve the texture, since they are a kind of stuffed animal whose face is made of smooth material, so join me in this new adventure and learn how to make your own Labubu in cold porcelain.

Materiales:

Procedimiento:
Empezamos con una forma de gota en porcelana fría para poder hacer el cuerpo. En la parte inferior haremos un corte para poder obtener así las piernas del Labubu, además con el punzón marcaremos un par de pliegues para acentuar el inicio de las piernas. Por último, daremos textura usando una esteca para ello, la idea es ir haciendo pequeños agujeros y así lograr el aspecto de tela de peluche. También, con una esteca de bolita daremos un poco de forma en la parte inferior de las piernas.

Procedure:
We start with a drop shape in cold porcelain in order to make the body. In the lower part we will make a cut in order to obtain the legs of the Labubu, also with the punch we will mark a couple of folds to accentuate the beginning of the legs. Finally, we will give texture using a stake for it, the idea is to make small holes and thus achieve the appearance of plush fabric. Also, with a ball stake we will give a little shape to the lower part of the legs.

Cuerpo / Body
Para los brazos formaremos un par de gotitas con la misma porcelana fría color rosado, los adheriremos a los costados de la figura principal y también le aportaremos textura con la esteca tipo cepillo de alambre.
For the arms we will form a couple of droplets with the same pink colored cold porcelain, we will adhere them to the sides of the main figure and we will also add texture with the wire brush type stake.

Brazos / Arms
Para la cabeza formaremos una esferita y con la esteca de bolita (de un tamaño apropiado), haremos un pequeño hundimiento donde irá la carita del Labubu, posteriormente, la adheriremos a la parte superior del cuerpo con algo de pegamento blanco. Para texturizarla igual como hemos hecho con el resto del cuerpo, podemos humedecer un poco la superficie con agua si acaso ya se siente muy seca, la hidratación reactivará la propiedad moldeable en la superficie y podremos usar más cómodamente el cepillo de alambre. Esta textura la daremos solo en el alrededor de la cabeza, es decir, respetando la parte central donde irá el rostro del personaje.
For the head we will form a little sphere and with the ball stake (of an appropriate size), we will make a small depression where the Labubu's face will go, later, we will adhere it to the upper part of the body with some white glue. To texture it as we have done with the rest of the body, we can moisten the surface a little with water if it feels too dry, the hydration will reactivate the moldable property on the surface and we will be able to use the wire brush more comfortably. This texture will be applied only around the head, that is to say, respecting the central part where the face of the character will be.

Cabeza / Head
El Labubu posee un par de orejas similares a las de un conejito muy tierno, para estas haremos un par de óvalos realmente pequeños y replicaremos el mismo proceso anterior para dar textura y con la esteca de bolita más pequeña que tengamos, realizaremos un pequeño hundimiento al centro de cada oreja.
The Labubu has a pair of ears similar to those of a very tender bunny, for these we will make a pair of really small ovals and replicate the same process above to give texture and with the smallest ball stake we have, we will make a small depression in the center of each ear.
Orejas / Ears
Es momento de hacer el rostro del Labubu, así que formamos un óvalo de un color beige y con ayuda del pegamento lo adherimos al espacio que habíamos dejado previamente, ya asegurando su posición, nos disponemos a esculpir sus facciones, con la esteca de bolita realizamos dos hundimientos donde irán los ojos y con la esteca de punzón hacemos la expresión del área que correspondería a sus cejas, si se fijan, su ceño está fruncido. También empezamos a añadir las otras partes restantes que son del mismo color beige, como por ejemplo, dos esferitas para sus pies.
It's time to make the Labubu's face, so we form an oval of a beige color and with the help of the glue we stick it to the space we had previously left, already securing its position, we start to sculpt his features, with the ball stake we make two sinks where the eyes will go and with the punch stake we make the expression of the area that would correspond to his eyebrows, if you notice, his frown is furrowed. We also start to add the other remaining parts that are the same beige color, for example, two little spheres for her feet.

Rostro / Face
Aplanamos un poco sus pies y luego con el bisturí, usándolo con delicadeza, marcaremos sus dedos. Replicaremos esto para las manos y también tomaremos un par de tiritas muy delgadas para hacer la parte interna de las orejas.
We flatten their feet a little bit and then with the scalpel, using it delicately, we will mark their toes. We will replicate this for the hands and we will also take a couple of very thin strips to make the inner part of the ears.

Ahora colocamos suficiente pegamento blanco en la parte recta del alfiler de ojo y lo introducimos en nuestro muñequito para así tener por donde colgarlo cuando se vaya a usar.

Llegó el momento de pintar su carita, esto sucede al haberse secado por completo la pieza, antes no debe hacerse. Hice los detalles con pintura al frío y para sus mejillas le añadido rubor con el rubor con el que me maquillo (risas).
It was time to paint her face, this happens when the piece is completely dry, it should not be done before. I did the details with cold paint and for her cheeks I added blush with the blush that I use for my make-up (laughs).
