A Hidden Market? Renting For Production.

Today I was adjusting some of my rentals in hopes to capture more DEC by renting out more active cards. I feel as I can earn more by renting out than playing with current DEC prices. While adjusting prices I noticed that there maybe a hidden opportunity for players who are using rentals as land workers.

I had a lot of low level alpha cards since I never really leveled up over the years. Through those years I have been renting them out in hopes to earn income rather than having them collect digital dust. Some of those rentals I had to lower the price to get rented out but what I did not realize was the low rental price became attractive path for players to take when used as workers on land.

On average a card that can rent out 1,000 PP per DEC is a very attractive deal. In addition since legacy cards get bigger multiplier bonus on production it becomes clear that renting out legacy cards on the cheap can roll in more profits.

Table below lists the multiplier bonus for each of the legacy cards.

| Column 1 | Column 2 | | Edition | Multiplier | | Alpha | 1.10× | | Beta | 1.05× | | Untamed | 1.025× | | Chaos Legion | 1.0× | | Rebellion | 1.0× |

Finding Alphas/Betas and getting the rentals over 1k PP per DEC will lock in better production workers as they consume less grain in order to produce the same equal amount of resources as if at a rate of 1.

In addition the required staked DEC to have legacy cards work is lower for older cards than newer cards. This helps to avoid locking up DEC liquidity.

You can look in my land plot just by example the Chromatic Dragon level 3 alpha has 8,250 PP and requires 5000 DEC staked for full production. Meanwhile same beta version needs to be level 4 to get 8, 250 PP and requires 10,000 DEC staked to reach full production. Note the older the legacy card the more PP at lower levels and the less DEC needed to be staked to have it in full production.

The trick to finding these hidden cards that I have found is through peakmonster's rental market. Filtering through the specific rarity at lower levels is where one can spot the best rates.

In the example above I filter out rares at Alpha and Beta and specific to cards level 5 and below. The result were a couple of cards renting out at over 1,000 PP per DEC.

Since rentals are set at minimum of 1 DEC these are the lowest price available for cards that have over 1k PP. Now we would not see these come out all the time to make great passive income for players with land but searching daily increases the odds of finding similar deals.

I can imagine players who have a ton of land plots but not enough legacy cards to rent out would want to try this out.

Until next time thanks for reading!!!
