Reviewing Peakmonster's Land Features

I just recently looked over the update user interface for Splinterlands land plots over on Peakmonsters and am very happy to see their cool features. My understanding is these updates happened about three months ago, but for me its really the first time going over. I want to indicate what Peakmonsters is offering that I do not see in game over on Splinterlands.

In game the land production page has decent amount of stats. From amount of staked DEC to amount of grain required by workers. The amount of resources produced per an hour and currently how much of each resource I am holding is also indicated. What is missing are stats that Peakmonsters has included to help players better gauge and use their lands and workers.

image.png

On Peakmonsters there is a "region efficiency" stat for players to gauge how much PP per DEC earn. When you hover over that stat a pop up view comes out showing the potential amount of earned DEC and cost of DEC per an hour in production. The end result a net on earnings. As of now I would be earning approximately 4.675 DEC per hour with the land configurations I currently have.

These stats are very helpful because my end goal is to accumulate more DEC. Glad to see Peakmonsters able to provide this type of stat.

When players expand on their list of land plots there is a host of information listed clearly in both Splinterlands and Peakmonsters user interface. image.png

However with a side by side comparison you can see that Peakmonster's interfact includes in detail description of each land plot and breakdown of their DEC staked versus DEC max in each plot. Overall Peakmonsters would appear to have a better detailed list of the land plots than in game Splinterlands, even though they both representing the same type of information.

What really would stand out in Peakmonster is their "configuration" tool.

image.png

Example of my plot of land when I do a configuration through Peakmonsters it is able to "auto fill" what it believes is the best combination of monsters available in my collection that can produce the maximum resources at that specific moment. I am focused more for low energy consumption while higher PP. This bolds well for use of legacy cards, but since I do not have high level of legacy cards it limits my max production when using the legacy cards.

Another neat set of stats on Peakmonsters is the current prices of each specific resource.

image.png

This data is presented when one select "resource costs" located on the land's home page. The data is useful in that each item is equated in terms of DEC and USD. It even lists cost of craftable items. The stats help players to read when it is good to exchange one resource to another if their intention is to yield the most amount of DEC.

I will end the review with one minor drawback I see over on Peakmonster's land user interface. The ability to stake more DEC to increase production energy. Currently over on Splinterlands one simply needs DEC number on homepage to add more DEC. In addition click on resource number to transfer type of resource from one user to another.

Those resource holding stats are not on the same page for Peakmonsters as it is in game. It is quite useful to have as a quick way to access one's resources.

Now to follow up my discussion as of yesterday it is near the end of a season therefore I expect to collect a decent amount of DEC these few days as players start renewing their rentals. Indeed I have in the tune of a couple of thousand DEC. With that being said I take some more snapshots below comparing the PP / DEC data before and after the additional DEC staked.

Before:

After:

With the added DEC staked my PP / DEC value dropped. This means the less PP I use to earn DEC. So the goal here is to keep lowering the amount of PP used to earn a single DEC to maximize efficiency of land use. Pretty cool!

Until next time thanks for reading!!!
