En el día de hoy estuve estudiando esta Danza Zuliana del maestro Cristobal Soto titulada “Por Estos Rincones”. Esta danza fue el primer tema de su producción discográfica titulada “Arisca” grabado en el año 1996. Pero yo no conocí este tema por ese disco yo lo conocí por el Ensamble Gurrufio que tenían un arreglo maravillo y bueno desde ese momento me llamo la atención y decidí aprendérmelo.
Today I was studying this Danza Zuliana by the master Cristobal Soto titled "Por Estos Rincones". This dance was the first theme of his record production titled "Arisca" recorded in 1996. But I did not know this song by that album, I knew it by the Ensamble Gurrufio who had a wonderful arrangement and well from that moment I called my attention and decided to learn it.
Hablemos un poco sobre el maestro Cristobal, es nacido en Paris y es un músico mandolinista y compositor. Su carrera en la música Venezolana inicia cuando se muda a la ciudad de Caracas por motivos familiares y bueno digamos que fue una bendición total que esta maravilloso interprete allá parado en nuestras queridas tierras porque fue fundador de grupo y ensambles muy importantes y que marcaron un antes y un después en nuestro música, tales como Gurrufio y los Anaucos.. sin duda alguna al maestro Cristobal nos ha nutrido con una variedad de composiciones muy interesantes e innovadoras para nuestra música y esta pieza es claro ejemplo de ello.
Let's talk a little about Maestro Cristobal, he was born in Paris and is a mandolin player and composer. His career in Venezuelan music began when he moved to the city of Caracas for family reasons and well let's say that it was a total blessing that this wonderful interpreter stood there in our beloved lands because he was the founder of very important groups and ensembles that marked a before and after in our music, such as Gurrufio and the Anaucos... without a doubt maestro Cristobal has nurtured us with a variety of very interesting and innovative compositions for our music and this piece is a clear example of it.
