Saludos gente bonita de #hive, hoy es un dÃa muy especial para los venezolanos sobre todo los religiosos, los creyentes, hoy en el estado Zulia celebración la fiesta de La Chinita, o Virgen de la Chiquinquirá, y yo aunque estoy de extremo a extremo en el paÃs, no podÃa dejar pasar esta fecha, ya que soy fiel creyente de ella, y he aquà mi manera de rendirle homenaje, con este maquillaje.
La Chinita como se le conoce es la santa patrona de los marabinos, aunque en cada rincón de Venezuela la celebran, la virgen de Chiquinquirá hace su aparición el 18 de Noviembre del año 1749, por lo que hoy dÃa está celebrando su cumpleaños número 314, y es celebrada por todos los zulianos, cuenta la leyenda que la virgen llega al Zulia en una tablita, y es una mujer que se encontraba lavando ropa a la orilla del lago de Maracaibo quien vio el madero flotando y le llamó la atención, esta mujer se la lleva a su casa para buscarle una utilidad en su casa.
Al dÃa siguiente mientras está humilde mujer hacia el café, pudo escuchar algunos toque en la puerta, y fue a ver quién llamaba a la puerta de su casa, al salir no vio a nadie, pero al entrar en su hogar, aquella tablita brillaba, con la luz más hermosa que sus ojos habÃan visto en su vida, luego y sin ningúna explicación en la tablita apareció la imagen de la chinita, y toda la ciudad acadio a ese humilde hogar a ver aquel milagro ocurrido.
También cuentan, que luego la iglesia se la llevó para su veneración y permaneció en la catedral de Maracaibo, una muy lujosa, un dÃa sacaron la tablita con la virgen en procesión, y al llegar a la esquina de la pequeña iglesia de San Juan de Dios, aquella tablita se puso tan, pero tan pesada, que fue imposible moverla, incluso con la fuerza de muchos hombres y nada, fue entonces cuando entre la multitud alguien habló y dijo, que la virgen querÃa quedarse en esa pequeña iglesia, todos rezaron y le dijeron a la virgen que si su voluntad era quedarse en aquella iglesia pequeña y sin lujos, que les diera una señal, y de pronto y sin explicación alguna, los hombre pudieron mover la tablita, y desde ese dÃa esa pequeña imagen en la tablita, es venerada por todos los marabinos en aquella iglesia, que en sus inicios era bien humilde, pero con el paso de los años se hizo cada dÃa más hermosa.
La tradición en el Zulia es inmensa, la bajan el último sábado del mes de Octubre, y es recibida en la puerta de la iglesia por todos los feligreses que acuden ese dÃa, y es llevada recorrer las diferentes iglesias del estado, luego regresa a la basÃlica para celebrar su cumpleaños, es dÃa, 18 de noviembre en el Zulia grandes y chicos celebran con todo, de hecho se dice y lo se porque lo vivÃ, en estas fecha todo es fiesta, el lugar que visites del estado, festeja a su madre la virgen de Chiquinquirá, o la chinita como se le dice de cariño.
Yo tuve la suerte ver su bajada hace ya algunos años atrás y debo decir, que para todo creyente está es una experiencia mágica y bellÃsima, por eso no podÃa dejar de celebrar a mi hermosa chinita, y he aquà mi homenaje para ella, un maquillaje hermoso, lleno de colores vivos, pero este maquillaje está lleno de fé,y sobretodo de amor, mucho amor por lo que hago, por eso hoy en tu dÃa, madre te pido fuerzas, para llevar esto que estamos viviendo en casa, te pido por la salud de mi esposo, y dame fuerzas para seguir luchando con él para que recupere su salud.

The next day while this humble woman was making coffee, she heard a knock on the door, and went to see who was knocking at the door of her house, when she went out she saw no one, but when she entered her home, that little board was shining, with the most beautiful light that her eyes had ever seen in her life, then and without any explanation on the little board appeared the image of the chinita, and the whole city came to that humble home to see the miracle that had happened.
They also say that later the church took it for veneration and it remained in the cathedral of Maracaibo, a very luxurious one, one day they took the little board with the virgin in procession, and when they arrived at the corner of the small church of San Juan de Dios, that little board became so, but so heavy, that it was impossible to move it, even with the strength of many men and nothing, it was then when in the crowd someone spoke and said, that the virgin wanted to stay in that small church, everyone prayed and told the virgin that if her will was to stay in that small church without luxuries, that she would give them a sign, and suddenly and without any explanation, the men could move the little board, and from that day that small image on the little board, is venerated by all the people of Marabá in that church, which in its beginnings was very humble, but over the years became more and more beautiful every day.
The tradition in Zulia is immense, she is brought down on the last Saturday of the month of October, and is received at the door of the church by all the parishioners who come that day, and is taken to the different churches in the state, and then returns to the basilica to celebrate her birthday, It is the 18th of November in Zulia, young and old celebrate with everything, in fact it is said and I know because I lived it, on this date everything is a party, the place you visit in the state, celebrates her mother the virgin of Chiquinquirá, or the chinita as she is called affectionately.
