Looking through your gallery and seeing different pictures that always bring back memories which you might have actually forgotten also but that is one of the reason why i love taking pictures, so coming back to the community after a long period of time i actually didn't go out a lot this past month and i could not really figure out what to use for my throwback because it has to be a great and nice one so i was able to come across some of the pictures which i took two month ago when i was invited by one of my friend in lagos who is into music also and the church he do attend is planning to do a musical concert so he reached out to me in other to play the piano for them even thought they have someone but he just wanted me to come and make things different.
Luckily for me the pianist in the church happens to be a friendly one so i traveled all the way from my end to lagos which was about 5 hours journey and that was because of the bad road which causes delay and making it more lengthy. So I could remember the day of the concert which was the second Friday of September and he actually told me to come earlier before that day so i can join the choir in the rehearsal and i would be familiar with anything they wanted to do. So i had to finish all what i was doing earlier that week and i prepared to travel a day before the concert.
The rehearsal was scheduled for that night so after the long journey i just had to rest for about minutes after getting there so the rehearsal started at around 10pm and I was able to see and correct some things which was created before and that made the rehearsal more fun for them. I could not sleep so well after the rehearsal because it was very lengthy and that was because i was doing some new add up to the song they did before.
So i was there for five days and it was on Sunday which happens to be the thanksgiving day and many choirs came to celebrate with them and also different instrumentalists, another day i couldn't rest because I was the only one on the piano and it was a whole lot of work. Hours standing up to play but that was not a new thing.
Friends that i saw for a long period of time came around also and we were able to merry together and also take pictures too, it was fun and also made me remember that once you are among your people who make you happy, it always feel like home to you. I had to take pictures and i could say they really brought back the memories checking through them again today and i had to post them and keep here for future purpose.
