Good evening to everyone in this wonderful community. I hope you are all well and enjoying a great weekend. Today I want to share with you a very special experience we recently had at our health center.
Yesterday we held our last high blood pressure screening event of the year, and since it coincided with Halloween, we decided to give it a festive theme. This idea came about thanks to a visit from a representative of MCK Calox, who suggested we hold the event with a Halloween-themed atmosphere. He also provided invaluable logistical support, including informational materials, medical samples, and some surprises for the patients who attended.

The event was a complete success. We began receiving patients early in the morning, who were seen in strict order of arrival. The themed decorations, costumes, and festive atmosphere helped create a warm and welcoming environment, which encouraged many people to enthusiastically participate.

Beyond the colorful and fun atmosphere, the main objective was clear: to detect cases of high blood pressure and provide appropriate guidance. Some patients left pleased to confirm that their readings were within normal ranges, while others discovered they have hypertension. These latter patients received comprehensive care: they were given a detailed explanation of the disease, how to manage it, medication to begin their treatment, and, of course, a gift as a token of our commitment to their well-being.

This event not only marked the end of our screening activities for this year but also reaffirmed the importance of combining prevention with empathy and creativity. Hypertension is a silent disease that affects millions of people, and events like this allow many to discover their condition early and begin taking care of themselves.

We are deeply grateful to MCK Calox for their collaboration, to the organizing team for their dedication, and to every patient who placed their trust in us. We will continue working with passion to promote health in our community, always seeking new ways to connect with people and make medical care accessible, humane, and memorable.

See you next time, with better health, more joy, and greater commitment!
