Today I want to share with you an experience I had yesterday, Saturday, September 20th. Although weekends are usually for resting, this time I had to go to work... but for a cause worth every minute invested.
Our clinic is celebrating its 49th anniversary, and as part of this commemoration, free medical visits were organized for the community, employees, and their families. It was a beautiful initiative that allowed us to give back and provide care to those who need it most.
Before beginning this noble work, my friends and I met early to share a good cup of coffee. That brief moment of connection helped us agree on how we were going to organize our work and welcome patients. Amid laughter and planning, we also took the opportunity to take some photographs and create memories that, although simple, are immensely valuable. It seems unbelievable, but we often don't find the time to get together and share anecdotes... and this was the perfect opportunity to do so.
The morning passed with greetings, smiles, and the commitment of each of us in our respective positions. The day ran smoothly and was warmly received by the community. Seeing so many people benefit from this collective effort was deeply gratifying.
These types of activities remind me that work can be much more than a routine; it can become a space for meeting, solidarity, and purpose. I am grateful to be part of a team that cares not only about physical health but also about the emotional and social well-being of those around us.

Fue una iniciativa hermosa que nos permitió devolver un poco de lo que recibimos, y brindar atención a quienes más lo necesitan.
Antes de comenzar con esta noble labor, mis amigas y yo nos reunimos temprano para compartir una buena taza de café. Ese pequeño momento de conexión nos sirvió para ponernos de acuerdo sobre cómo íbamos a organizar el trabajo y recibir a los pacientes, entre risas y planes, también aprovechamos para tomar algunas fotografías y crear memorias que, aunque sencillas, tienen un valor inmenso. Parece mentira, pero muchas veces no encontramos el tiempo para reunirnos y compartir anécdotas… y esta fue una oportunidad perfecta para hacerlo.
La mañana transcurrió entre saludos, sonrisas y el compromiso de cada una de nosotras en nuestros respectivos puestos. La jornada se llevó a cabo con total normalidad y fue recibida con muy buena aceptación por parte de la comunidad. Ver a tantas personas beneficiarse de este esfuerzo colectivo fue profundamente gratificante.
Este tipo de actividades me recuerdan que el trabajo puede ser mucho más que una rutina puede convertirse en un espacio de encuentro, solidaridad y propósito. Me siento agradecida por formar parte de un equipo que no solo se preocupa por la salud física, sino también por el bienestar emocional y social de quienes nos rodean.
