It sounds easy to say, but each year has been a story lived with passion and commitment.  The week began with a symbolic but meaningful event. On Monday, September 1st, the Hospital Clínico flag was raised alongside that of the state of Zulia. This gesture represents our identity, our history, and the commitment we have maintained throughout these years to the health and well-being of our community. Seeing those flags waving was a moment of collective pride.  On Tuesday, we formally began the celebrations with a beautiful solemn Mass, presided over by our parish priest, Father Doria. The ceremony took place in the lobby of the hospital's side entrance and was a space of recognition and gratitude. We thanked God for these 49 years of service, for every life touched, for every patient treated, and for every employee who has left their mark on this institution.  After Mass, we headed to the Ekaalee restaurant, where hospital officials shared some moving words that reminded us of the value of our daily work. Physicians, administrative staff, and workers gathered to toast this special date. It was a moment of unity, mutual recognition, and celebration.  The evening was accompanied by a delicious steak and desserts that delighted everyone present. Beyond the food, what was truly savored was the camaraderie, joy, and pride of belonging to an institution that has made a difference for almost half a century.  __Every anniversary is an opportunity to look back and appreciate the journey we've taken. In my case, these 30 years have been a school of life. I've seen the hospital grow, shared difficult times, and also great achievements.
