Today, I decided to try something new. ‎ ‎Actually, I'm not a pro at cooking. My dishes are mostly simple saute recipes. ‎ ‎But today, my hubby brought home a huge bangkulis/tuna fish, and I was craving something with coconut milk. ‎ ‎So I thought, why not combine the two? 🤔 ‎ ‎That's why today, I decided to make "Bangkulis/Tuna in Creamy Coconut Sauce." ‎ ‎So join me as I share my step-by-step recipe. ‎ ‎Ingredients: ‎ ‎• fresh bangkulis/tuna ‎• coconut milk ‎• garlic ‎• onion ‎• ginger ‎• sweet potato leaves ‎• salt and pepper to taste • cooking oil

Preparation: ‎ ‎• I started by putting a generous pinch of salt in the bangkulis/tuna. Then, I heated up the pan and fried the bangkulis/tuna until they turned golden brown. Once done, I set them aside.

‎• Next, I make fresh coconut milk by mixing the crushed coconut meat with warm water, squeezing it, and straining the mixture.

‎• With my coconut milk ready, I moved into the aromatics. I minced the garlic, chopped the onion, and sliced some ginger. After that, I sauteed these in the same pan.

‎• Finally, I poured the fresh coconut milk into the pan and brought it to a simmer.

‎• After the coconut milk had simmered, I added the crispy, golden fried bangkulis/tuna back into the pan. I stirred it gently, letting it cook together for 5-7 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.

‎• Next, I added a handful of fresh sweet potato leaves. I gave it a quick stir, making sure the leaves wilted.
