Hi, all! ‎ ‎Wishing all our Hivers around the globe a fantastic weekend! 🌷 ‎ ‎For this post, I'm gonna share the continuation of our plan for the day. ‎ ‎Just like what I posted yesterday, the power outage wasn't going to be restored anytime soon. ‎ ‎So what we did was head out to the park. ‎ ‎But as we arrived, we found that the gate was closed. ‎ ‎It seemed like an event was happening there, with crowds gathered around. ‎ ‎Not willing to be disappointed, we turned our steps toward the night market instead. ‎ ‎We bought some snacks, like street food. ‎ ‎Yet, still not wanting to go home, we started brainstorming our next move. ‎ ‎We decided to go upland! ‎ ‎Yes. ‎ ‎We want to get a better view of our town. ‎ ‎So, we drove there, it was refreshing, and when we finally reached the top, a breathtaking panoramic view greeted us. 😻

The fluffy clouds, the mountains, and the greenery spread out like a blanket. ‎ ‎There we enjoyed the street food we bought earlier.

Every bite, we felt contented as we appreciated the peacefulness and were mesmerized by the wonders of nature around us. ‎ ‎It's just my son, Ryzen, was already peacefully asleep in his dad's arms.

While Aiden and I? It was just us who shared this quiet moment and appreciated the beauty of the world.

Nearby, we saw a young kid pasturing goats, fearless of the steep cliff edge.

This little boy seemed so at ease, enjoying his time in nature without a worry in the world. ‎ ‎After spending some time there, soaking in the breathtaking view, enjoying the street food, and capturing precious moments, we decided it was time to leave the upland. ‎ ‎The serenity and beauty had been perfect, but we knew there were more places to explore. ‎ ‎Our next stop? ‎ ‎The public rest area or a waiting shed with a unique taro design.

This place used to be so charming before — well-maintained, clean, and inviting. ‎ ‎But now, it's a different story. ‎ ‎The once-neat area was now cluttered with trash scattered all around, despite clear signage urging visitors not to litter. ‎ ‎It was disappointing to see how many people disobeyed the rules and disregarded the effort to keep the space clean. ‎ ‎It was just saddening. ‎ ‎One more thing about this space is the burial ground with numerous grave markers.

We didn't stay long there, as we sensed the rain was about to start. ‎ ‎So after that, we headed back home feeling satisfied with all that we'd accomplished.

‎Also hoping that the power would be back on. ‎ ‎Until our next unwind and recharge... ‎ ‎Thanks for the visit! Have a lovely day. Buh-bye. 💗🌸
