Having a baby, our food menu changes. One thing I love to prepare for them is "Misua Ni Nanay". This one is a simple yet delicious soup that can be easily customized. I enjoy experimenting with different flavors to make it unique for each meal. Now I'm using canned goods, but this is also better if you use fresh chicken or pork for a richer taste. I also toss some malunggay leaves to make it even healthier. Ingredients: • 1 pack misua noodles • 1 can of sardines in tomato sauce • 1/2 cup malunggay (moringa) leaves • 2 cloves garlic • 1 small onion • 1 tablespoon fish sauce (patis) • salt and pepper to taste • 2 cups water

Preparation: I started by heating a bit of oil in the pot and sautéing finely chopped garlic and onion until they released an aroma.

Next, I added canned sardines, letting their savory flavor blend with the garlic and onion.

After the sardines had cooked for a few minutes, I poured in water and brought it to a boil.

Once it started bubbling, I seasoned it with fish sauce, salt, and pepper to taste. Then, I added the misua noodles, letting them cook for just 2 to 3 minutes until soft.

To finish, I tossed in fresh malunggay leaves.

The leaves added not only a lovely color but also a nutritious boost. And that's it! Here's "Misua ni Nanay", a simple yet loving dish that reminds us of HOME and family love. I hope this recipe turns out wonderfully for you.

Until my next simple and healthy meal... Thanks for the visit! Have a lovely day. Buh-bye. 💗🌸
