Today, I'd love to introduce you to one of the hidden spring resorts in Ligao City, Albay.
It's about a 20-minute drive from the city proper.
It has three swimming pools — two for adults and one for kids.
Its water source comes from a natural spring, so it is cold.
We went there in the afternoon to escape the heat.
As we arrived, we took our time before dipping in.
We watched our cousins play the traditional Filipino game of bahay, baboy, bagyo.
Their laughter echoed as they eagerly took turns.
They enjoyed splashing, feeling the contrast between the warm sun's heat and the cool water.
As they continued to play, we decided to go for a swim.
I was with my hubby and Ryzen.
We headed to the kids' pool, knowing Ryzen needed a little guidance.
Actually, he doesn't want to step into the shallow water.
But as we helped him in, making sure he felt safe and comfortable, he then tried to splash the water and move a little deeper.
The water was cool yet refreshing. 🍃
While doing little splashes, I also spotted my friend and my cousin Sab sitting at the corner of the kids' pool, relaxing in the warmth of the sun while their feet dangled in the cool water of the pool.
I watched for a moment, taking in their relaxing scene together.

After that, we spent the rest of the afternoon swimming and soaking up.
We all jumped into the cool water after I put my phone in the cottage.
I floated on my back, relaxed on the pool edges, and just enjoyed the simple pleasure of being in the water under the bright sun.
We ended up laughing a lot and enjoying each other's company in that hidden spring resort.
So yeah, that's how my weekend goes.
