‎"The pain of childbirth is temporary, but the joy of motherhood is forever." ‎ ‎It was September 25 when I gave birth to my second son — Rei Aiden.

It all began two days earlier when I felt the first signs of contractions. ‎ ‎Although the pain was manageable, I knew that this was a sign that my body was preparing for the moment of birth. ‎ ‎Night of September 24 when the contractions became more frequent and intense, happening about every minute. ‎ ‎Suddenly, amid these contractions, my water broke. ‎ ‎I called my mom, filled with a mix of excitement and nervousness. ‎ ‎My family quickly rushed to our house with great concern. ‎ ‎Soon, we were on our way to the hospital, the car speeding through the streets. ‎ ‎As we were in the hospital, I was guided to a room where I had to wait for a few minutes. ‎ ‎The midwife was busy attending to other moms giving birth, so I tried to stay calm, breathing deeply and focusing on the moment. ‎ ‎Every second felt like a lifetime, but finally, the midwife called my name. ‎ ‎As soon as she did, I instantly lay down on the bed. ‎ ‎With a deep breath, I made a push, guided by the experienced hands of the midwife. ‎ ‎In just a few minutes, a tiny baby was born. ‎ ‎As I heard my baby's first cry, I felt really happy. ‎ ‎It was a sound that brought immediate relief, confirming that both of us were now safe. ‎ ‎The midwife carefully made some stitches on me to help me heal. ‎ ‎While my baby was quickly dressed in tiny, soft clothes, and then handed to his dad. ‎ ‎After about an hour, I felt strong enough to join them so the midwife carefully brought me to their room. ‎ ‎I lie beside my baby and my hubby.

Suddenly, my newborn baby woke up to the bright lights and sounds of the world. ‎ ‎For a moment, he wondered where he was.

He had been so cozy and snug in my tummy for so long. ‎ ‎Now he was curious about all the new things around him. ‎ ‎After that, I cradle my newborn baby in my arms, and I begin breastfeeding. ‎ ‎He latched on, and in that moment, I realized how the pain of labor and delivery had been intense but brief, yet the joy, love, and fulfillment that come with motherhood are forever. ‎ ‎Until our next milestones... ‎ ‎Thanks for the visit! Have a lovely day. Buh-bye. 💗🌸
