Last Sunday, we visited my parents. Sunday is usually the perfect family day as it's when everyone takes a break from their busy schedules. It was also the last day of the weekend before facing the new week again with work and responsibilities. As we went there, just like what I shared in my last post, I cooked chicken liver with potatoes for dinner.

My brother and his wife, Ella, also joined us that night, bringing fried chicken and sinigang na baboy, which added to the meal.

My mom was so thankful for us that night for visiting them. She said the house became noisy again with all of us together. When it's just the three of them in the house, mealtime has become quieter, and they don't usually eat together anymore. My sister, who is on a diet, always says she's full when it's time to eat. So, sharing food together at that moment and enjoying each other's company brought my mom so much happiness. After dinner, we moved to the living room to continue our bonding. My dad offered his Alfonso Light, mixing it with Nestea juice.

My sister also bought some chips to serve as our pulutan.

This is usually how we end the night... With a drink.
It's just we're a bit incomplete today, because one of our brothers isn't with us.
He's in Sorsogon right now, a 3-hour trip away from here.
Even though it's not that far, itp still feels like something's missing when we gather without him.
Soon, I hope he gets home. So that's our family bonding moment last Sunday. Until our next special times... Thanks for the visit! Have a lovely day. Buh-bye. 💗🌸
