Hi there, cuties! There was this morning that I woke up early. And you know what I witnessed? It was my favorite scene in the morning — a cool and refreshing fog. 😻
It was lingering in the mountains, instantly becoming a breathtaking view. While appreciating that scene, I heard a familiar sound. It was the "potpot" from kuya vendor! He's already nearby selling our favorite sapin-sapin. Immediately, I reached for my wallet, quickly approached him, and bought our usual order — 40 pesos of delicious ube halaya and kutsinta. 😋
After that, I get back to the fog, the mountains, and enjoy my favorite breakfast to start my day. Suddenly, as I glanced at the clock, I realized that the scheduled brownout was about to begin. It was 6:30 am and the power would be out until 6:30 pm. 12 long hours without WIFI, electricity, or even an electric fan to keep us cool! 😩 So knowing that staying indoors would be challenging without power, we decided to make the most of the situation. Since my hubby couldn't work online during the blackout, we both thought of a fun way to pass the time. So without hesitation, I created my shopping list, and we headed out to the grocery store. This wasn't part of our usual schedule but this was the best offer and a pleasant distraction from the power outage. As we made our way through the mall, we noticed that many people around us were doing the same — finding ways to pass the time outside their homes since staying indoors wasn't an option that day. Families, friends, and even solo visitors. At the grocery store, I picked up the essentials we needed, paid at the counter, and you know where we headed next?
If you're a follower of my blogs or someone who loves swinging by for updates, you've probably guessed it already... Yes, it's on the Fun Nation! ☺️
Ryzen was with us, so as we entered he eagerly clicked on the gaming machines.
He roamed around excitedly and watched others play.
Again, people are gathering here. Making the most of their time, enjoying themselves, rather than staying home without electricity. After some time there, we headed back home. And while sitting together, my hubby and I both started to think again about what could be next. Should we do some outdoor strolls or try a new recipe? Watch out for my next blogs... Until our next adventures... Thanks for the visit! Have a lovely day. Buh-bye. 💗🌸
