Because I am a teacher and every year I will hold a farewell at Lake Toba even though the main tourist attraction is different, Lake Toba is a destination that we always go to every year. And for this year we stayed at the Pandu Likeside Parapat Hotel. One of the three-star hotels located in the center of Parapat and its location directly overlooks the view of Lake Toba so that from the balcony of the hotel room the view is really very beautiful. The mountain wind that blows slowly can be felt by visitors all the way to the room so that in this hotel there is no air conditioning at all and the air in the room is also cool.
This hotel has two floors that form the letter L. If I photograph the hotel room hallway from the building next door, the pillars on the edge of the room seem to form very aesthetic hallways. The paint color is neutral, namely gray and cream. And in each room there is a half-wall divider so that activities on the balcony next to our room will be visible there are also lounge chairs, if you need more privacy you can only use the room but not the balcony of the room.
Oh yeah, I almost forgot, in the Landmark hotel section, there is a kitchen door and they decorate the kitchen doors with grass-shaped wallpaper. so that the door looks like a mini garden that has a tilted position. Then the wall next to it is made of half dark brown natural stone and 50 percent below it forms a wall as usual and only a play of color there. The question that arises is why is there a kitchen door? Because that's where the restaurant is located. A simple restaurant that has orange plastic chairs that make the restaurant atmosphere look lively and the room a little brighter.
For the hotel rooms themselves, there are 3 types of rooms, namely standard rooms, twin bed rooms and extra deluxe rooms for families, all of which have different prices and the price of the room starts from IDR 350,000 to IDR 550,000. and here there is breakfast in the form of heavy meals and fruits. The room is quite spacious even though it is a standard type. There is a television, wardrobe, hotel slippers, an inside bathroom that provides hot and cold water. And there is also a toilet there. For the price of 80 U $ dollars in a tourist spot like this with the facilities and hotel rooms available, it is very comfortable. But don't ask about hotels that have air conditioning here because many hotels do not provide it due to the natural conditions of the mountains that make cool air enter the hotel room.
Oh yes, in this hotel itself, besides we can enjoy the lake water directly. For families who bring children, there is also a children's play area here. Which is designed to be very fun of course. The parking lot at this hotel is also quite spacious, making it easy for visitors to come to this hotel and easy for visitors to come to this place. Overall, the design of this hotel has a modern concept without any traditional designs that follow it. The design is a universal design in general that has no characteristics here.
