ENGLISH VERSION
Greetings friends
On Monday, after a well-deserved rest, I started my training today, counting down the days to my first participation in Caracas Rock 2025. I got up at 5:00 am and, with the weather in my favour, I called my husband to go training, but today he was indisposed and preferred to rest, so I had to train alone. In the past, I didn't go out alone, and I can't deny that I've gotten used to going out jogging with my husband. It feels strange, but only at the beginning because we usually each go at our own pace and only see each other at the start and finish, so I don't miss him that much, hehehe, just a few minutes when we leave and then when we arrive. When I go out alone, I choose a busy route, and of course, I'm more alert. I started my first two kilometres as a warm-up, and once I got over the heaviness of the first few kilometres, I began to slow down a little. I felt good in the following kilometres, maintaining speeds between 6:13 and 5:50 min/km. I felt a little agitated in the last few kilometres, but thank God my legs responded well. I did sweat a lot, and in the last few kilometres I began to feel the high temperatures. That's why I never go out without my hydration pack and wear cool clothing.
The route I chose for today was the one that leads to the sea. Even though it was Monday, there were already several people training, running, walking and doing exercises. I felt good when I got home because I was strong and didn't stop my training due to a lack of company, although I can't deny that I missed my husband. We only have two weeks of training left before our participation in Caracas Rock 2025. It's time to take it a little easier and not overload ourselves, while still staying active with our training.
