A new day, grateful for each awakening and the opportunity to enjoy what I am so passionate about: going out for a run and enjoying the environment. At 5:00 am, I got up very early, enjoyed a cup of coffee, and went to do my training. Today we went out onto the street, leaving the stadium behind. I love going jogging on the street because I feel free, I feel part of the environment. Today, my training consisted of 8K, the chosen route, my favourite, the one that takes me to the sea. The first two kilometres were at a pace between 7:21 and 6:31, warming up my body a little. I always find these first two kilometres difficult, so I always take them as a warm-up. Once my body was warmed up, I started to slow down to a pace of between 5:44 and 6:10. Thankfully, the weather was very pleasant. On my way home, I was struck by a large, leafy tree, which I likened to the tree of life, as it looked very old. Today, we saw several people training, making the most of the early hours of the day.
When I got home, I did some stretching and stabilised myself. I was very sweaty today; I perspired a lot. I tried not to stop during the 8k, not even to take a photo, because I feel that when I stop, I lose momentum, I feel heavy, and my mind becomes lazy, wanting to stop when I reach kilometre 5. In the few weeks left before the race, I will try not to stop during the races so that I can perform better and work on my mind.
