Dia del largo de la semana. Dia Domingo, madrugamos aun mas que lo normal, ya que necesitabamos desocuparnos temprano, por lo que no pudimos salir a trotar en grupo, y para no perder el entrenamiento que mas disfruto de la semana, y el que mas beneficios nos trae las rutas largas, decidimos levantarnos mas temprano. Ya estabamos en pista a las 5: 30 am, gracias a Dios aclaro rapido ya a las 5:40 estaba ya claro el cielo. Lo que si notamos mi esposo y yo es que a esa hora habia bastante trafico automotor, esto es la gente que se regresa de sus fiestas. Por lo que siempre hay que tener mas precaucion, ya que muchas personas amanecidas al volante. Lo bueno de esta hora es que esta bien fresco el clima. Una ruta bien agradable escogimos para la ruta larga, que tiene subidas y bajadas. Inicie mis dos primeros kilometros de calentamientos, y luego mantuve un ritmo promedio de 6:30 min/Km, un ritmo promedio comodo para mi. En el camino habia una hermosa pintura del Doctor Jose gregorio hernandez, me senti muy bendecida por esta imagen en mi camino. Disfrutando al maximo de estas rutas largas cada vez mas, ya que me bendice siempre. --- Para el largo de la semana me fui preparada con mis bocadillos de platano, y mi bebida de electrolitos, asi de esta maner rindo mas, y el cansancio se mitiga un poco, me senti comoda y con energia aun. Gracias a Dios logramos completar la 1 hora y 30 minutos de entrenamiento. Y seguimos preparandonos para la CAF 2026, con todo. --- Y bueno seguimos con nuestros entrenamientos.

Day of the week. On Sunday, we got up even earlier than usual, as we needed to leave early, so we couldn't go jogging as a group. In order not to miss the training session I enjoy most during the week, and the one that brings us the most benefits from long routes, we decided to get up earlier. We were already on the track at 5:30 a.m. Thankfully, it cleared up quickly, and by 5:40 a.m., the sky was already clear. What my husband and I did notice was that there was quite a lot of traffic at that time of day, with people returning from their parties. So, you always have to be extra careful, as many people are still awake at the wheel. The good thing about this time of day is that the weather is nice and cool. We chose a very pleasant route for the long run, which has ups and downs. I started my first two kilometres of warm-up, and then maintained an average pace of 6:30 min/km, a comfortable average pace for me. On the way, there was a beautiful painting of Doctor Jose Gregorio Hernandez, and I felt very blessed by this image on my path. I am enjoying these long routes more and more, as they always bless me.


For the long run of the week, I went prepared with my banana snacks and my electrolyte drink, so I can perform better and the fatigue is mitigated a little. I felt comfortable and still had energy. Thank God we managed to complete the 1 hour and 30 minutes of training. And we continue to prepare for CAF 2026, with everything we've got. And we continue to prepare for CAF 2026.
