Greetings friends
Monday, here we go with God's help, giving thanks for each day He gives us, for our health, love, and the people around us. And after a few days of rest with no set goal, we are resuming our training in a disciplined manner, already focused on CAF 2026 and our first participation in a full marathon. Oh my God, here we go, how nerve-wracking! Everyone agrees that the hardest part is the training, but with God's help and determination, we will embark on this great project. I know it won't be easy, but I accept everything that this preparation entails. Nothing in life is easy, so let's send out good vibes so that everything goes well.
Today, we went to the stadium to relax our legs a little on the grass. It was a cool day, and the stadium was almost empty, with only a few of the more experienced runners doing a few laps around the stadium. Today we only did 5 kilometres at a gentle pace, relaxing. I didn't use my headphones for this training session, as I'm trying to be more independent of them because they were creating a lot of stimulation for me. At the end of the 5 kilometres, night was falling. It's getting dark very early, and as there are no lights in the stadium, everything gets dark. I felt comfortable with today's 5 kilometres, at an average speed of 7 min/km. And now comes the hard part of training. Everyone is on the same page, as a marathon requires a lot of preparation time, and that's why it's very important not to skip this stage to avoid any injuries or setbacks during the race.
