The last HiveFest I joined was a great event. It was a happy, fun, and highly conversational experience that will stick with me forever. The sights and sounds of the Hive community's gathering were a constant reminder of how great it is to be in this community that turns tech, humanity, and dreams into action.
Maybe the best thing about HiveFest was the opportunity to finally meet the people behind the usernames we frequently see on our devices. For all of the familiar names we all know, it was a crazy experience to see them turn into faces, voices, and people with personalities. To meet other people in real life, shake hands, and share smiles, I realised that Hive is not just some website but a family from different parts of the world.
The event itself was well organised and was a great combination of learning and togetherness. The combination of inspiring speaking sessions, talks, and social experiences made this the perfect chance to learn together to build relations. Hive is more than just blockchain and technology. It's the people that make it exceptional—real thoughts, dreams, faces, and conversations.
For me, HiveFest was a highlight but, most importantly, a great reminder of what makes this community special. Sharing thoughts, being encouraged by others, and the chance to lead to show the positive things that Hive is doing in Ghana was special. I also felt it gave me a fresh perspective on how Hive is being practised around the world.
In terms of the future, without a doubt I will always be back to HiveFest. I would not miss this type of experience for the world, and I am committed to showing up wherever I can. Every HiveFest experience is incredibly important to my Hive journey and keeps me excited to do more when I return home.
To whoever reads this, I would encourage you to plan for HiveFest in the future. Meeting other Hivers in real life, sharing ideas and building lifelong friendships in life are irreplaceable. HiveFest is more than an event. It's an experience that embodies the spirit of blockchain, and I look forward to seeing many of you there next time!
