Decentralized exchanges are something you should start using if you are not using them already because that is where you truly own your cryptocurrency. On centralized exchanges, your crypto is actually controlled by the owner of the centralized exchange because you do not own the keys.

When it is not your keys, it is not your crypto. That is why I started using decentralized exchanges a long time ago. In fact, I believe that if you learn how to use them, you might eventually prefer them over centralized exchanges.

Now, I am going to talk about one of the most used decentralized exchanges by me. I am talking about TribalDEX, which is the native decentralized exchange for the Hive blockchain. In the screenshot below, you can see that TribalDEX is not working right now.

There is an error that appears when you try to access your wallet. It says “failed to fetch data.” The same happens when using other functionalities, as you can see in the screenshot below. When I try to access the swap feature, it returns the same error. Lastly, in the add liquidity section, you will see no available options.

You do not have to panic because this is just a temporary error that is going to be fixed by the TribalDEX team very soon. I hope this technical issue resolves quickly.

Now, let me talk about something that can help you in such situations. It is important to use multiple decentralized exchanges. I am not saying that once you start using TribalDEX you should ignore all other decentralized exchanges, because that is not the right approach.

Instead, you should know about multiple trusted decentralized exchanges and learn how to use them. This way, if one is not working properly due to technical issues, you can use another.

For example, Leodex is another decentralized exchange you can use. You can also use PancakeSwap, Uniswap, or many other options available in the market. Explore them, learn how to use them, and you will be free from panic when one decentralized exchange is not working properly.

Do not feel sad about these unwanted errors because they get fixed quickly. Sometimes it takes a little time, but your funds are always safe since your keys are with you and not controlled by the owner of a centralized exchange. The solution is simple, start learning!
