Last June 4 and 5, my daughter had her high school graduation activities, unusually there were two. The first one was the graduation ceremony of the University College of the University of Havana, where my daughter studied 12th grade. It was held in the Aula Magna of the University itself. The other, at the Yara cinema, was that of her former school, where she attended her 10th and 11th grades. This institution is legally authorized to issue his Bachelor's Degree, since the University, for obvious reasons, does not issue this type of degrees.
For the occasion we wanted to give she a gift, something that would reflect our paternal pride in her achievements and that she would always have at hand in this stage of her life that is beginning and that will be full of new experiences, difficulties and many goals to achieve. What better than a rock of kindness? Perfect and eternal!!
From the beginning it was clear to me what phrase I would write on it, but I had a hard time deciding on the color.
I opted for an aquamarine tone, my daughter likes it very much. The phrase in black, to get a strong contrast. I added a little heart.
It still seemed very sober and in my eagerness to put color to everything I drew several colored dots. I admit it looked a bit childish, but it was done.
I put it in a little cloth bag with the word congratulations written on it and put it in my purse...we would give it to her right after the first ceremony.
PS: Sorry I don't have pictures of when I gave it to her in the beautiful Aula Magna...it didn't happen 🤣!! With the excitement of the moment I completely forgot the stone in my purse and not only the first day...the second day too!!!! I ended up giving it to her at home dead laughing at the forgetfulness (which the laughter was not to cry 😜). Should I worry 🤔?OMG...did dementia got us before 50??🤣
