Summer is almost over. Before it ends, my family and I had the opportunity to spend some time at the white sands of Tabuelan, Cebu.
It was a Sunday afternoon that we left the city and started our travel to Sogod, Cebu. It was a 2 and a half hour drive. We spent the night there and on the morrow headed to the beach. We stayed in a farm in Sogod. Spent the time catching up with friends who worked there. They were so generous that they prepared and served us dinner.
Our girls in their swimming attire. Ready to go to the beach.
Tabuelan is 45 minutes drive from where we stayed. Our goal on that trip was to take a dip in the sea. So we opted to go to a budget friendly white sand beach. We found it in Maravilla, Tabuelan. We just rented a cottage. We had food and water with us. And there we go, swimming! ☺️
Isn't this place beautiful?! White sand beach! Clean!
We enjoyed the view, the sea water and the ambiance. There were very few people on the spot where we decided to rent a cottage. Cottage fee was 500 pesos, no entrance fee. We arrived past 9AM. We stayed until 2PM. We enjoyed our time there especially the children. Imagine enjoying the sea exclusively(kind of). Because after an hour the people present when we arrived already left. Other groups where far from where we rented a cottage.

Insights about the trip.
I have always admireand love nature. And I am always in awe being near to it. As we drove, seeing the green trees around, the mountains, the sky and the beach, I am deeply grateful to the Creator of it all.
It keeps as a reminder of His great love for us. It keeps me grounded realizing how small we are compared to all of His creations. Being able to be with nature reminds me that we can always live life simply and gratefully.
As budget at time permits, we bring our children to places where they can experience nature first hand and come to appreciate its beauty.
Thank you for taking this nature trip with us.
Until next time!
xoxo,
Met
