Hola hola gente bonita de Hive, hoy paso por aqui para compartirles este paseo que realicé a la capital de Nueva Esparta, aprovechando la visita de mi familia. ✨ Hello hello beautiful people of Hive, today I'm here to share with you this trip I took to the capital of Nueva Esparta, taking advantage of my family's visit.
1 Catedral "Nuestra Señora de la Asunción"
Conocida como el tembló más antiguo de Venezuela, esta catedral data del 1520, y es la cuna de la virgen de la Asunción, y la diócesis de Nueva Esparta. Me impresiona mucho su altura, y me cautiva su arquitectura simpl y rústica. ✨ Known as the oldest earthquake in Venezuela, this cathedral dates back to 1520 and is the birthplace of the Virgin of the Assumption and the diocese of Nueva Esparta. I am very impressed by its height. and I am captivated by its simple and rustic architecture.
2 Casa de Juan Bautista Arismendi.
No solo fue la casa donde hábito el conocido Libertador de Nueva Esparta, si no toda su familia. ✨ It was not only the house where the famous Liberator of Nueva Esparta lived, but also his entire family.
3 Museo "Nueva Cádiz"
Un sitio pequeño y tranquilo, con varias exposiciones de arte, la más importante, la historia de la isla Cubagua, conocida antes como ciudad de Nueva Cádiz, un sitio explotado para extraer sus perlas que terminó siendo devastado por el mar. ✨ A small and quiet place, with several art exhibitions, the most important being the history of Cubagua Island, formerly known as the city of Nueva Cádiz, a site exploited to extract its pearls which ended up being devastated by the sea.
4 Centro Comercial Artesanal "El Güire"
Demasiado pintoresco e instagrameable, dónde podrás encontrar todo tipo de souvenirs ✨ Too picturesque and instagrammable, where you can find all kinds of souvenirs
5 Castillo de Santa Rosa de la Eminencia.
Construido para proteger la Asunción luego de un fuerte saqueo, fue el primer sitio de prisión para la heroína nacional Luisa Cáceres de Arismendi. ✨ Built to protect Asunción after a heavy looting, it was the first prison site for the national heroine Luisa Cáceres de Arismendi.
6 Parque Nacional Cerro Copey.
El parque nacional la Sierra o Cerro Copey, es un lugar muy lindo, verde y fresco. Ubicado en una de las montañas más altas de Margarita, es ideal para una excursión. Su nombre viene de un árbol muy antiguo con raíces aéreas y un fruto que al abrir parece una estrella. ✨ La Sierra National Park, or Cerro Copey, is a beautiful, green, and cool place. Located on one of Margarita's highest mountains, it's ideal for a hike. Its name comes from a very old tree with aerial roots and a fruit that looks like a star when opened.
