My introduction to hive

My name is Francis Blessing. I am from Abia state, Nigeria. I am 50 years old. I am a businessperson. Therefore, it is safe to say I am self-employed. I am married and I have four kids. I love to read. I love to read the news and I love to read books. I love to play table tennis as well. Not to brag but I am good at it. I learnt to play tennis when I was younger and it has stuck with me until now.  I like to write. I see it as a way of expressing myself. Writing, for me, is a way to say my thoughts. Most times, I get marveled by the clarity with which one can express their thoughts when they write. Writing is how I document my experiences. This is why I am excited about hive. I have seen that hive gives me that platform to express myself in writing. I have seen that hive is also a place to connect and make friends with many amazing people. That is one of the things I look forward to achieving on hive.  In addition, I also intend to learn so much on hive. There are many people putting out quality content that others can learn from. I intend to learn as much as I can while also giving value myself. Another hobby of mine is football. I love watching football a lot. On the weekends, I spend almost my entire day watching football games. Sometimes I play football with some of the men on my street. Generally, I just love sports. Apart from watching football games, I watch tennis and basketball games as well. One sport I really want to learn is golf. It has caught my interest lately and I hope that someday, I get the chance to learn it. I love business. I just love selling things and offering services to make money. It is something I have gotten good at doing over the years. I have little crypto experience. The only experience I have of crypto was buying a certain cryptocurrency. After buying, I forgot about it, only to check 2 months later and my money had increased. It seemed unreal to me, but it was real. I knew then that crypto is something that I would love to get into. I know that on hive, I am going to learn more about crypto and web3 in general. I do have the passion to learn about it so my determination is not in doubt. I have heard about blockchains, NFTs, and the other terms but I haven’t fully grasped them yet. I believe that the more time I spend here, the more I will be acquainted with these things. I learnt about hive from @perfect20 whom I will be grateful to always. I look forward to achieving great things on hive, I look forward to connecting with people and most of all, I look forward to improving myself. I am happy to be on hive. I believe this is the start of an amazing journey for me.
