Well. A few weeks ago I was talking a bit about Justin Bieber’s latest album, **Swag**, which was a big surprise for everyone who listens to his music. However, it seems this guy wanted to keep playing with surprises hahaha, because just a few days ago, specifically on September 5th, he dropped **part two of his album Swag**.
And I didn’t even find out until hours later, when I was on YouTube and, thanks to shuffle and autoplay being on, a Justin song came up that I thought was old and assumed I had never heard before. But then, when I realized two more songs followed with a very similar cover, I knew that wasn’t the case hahaha.😅

So I took the time to listen to this entire second part of the album, which actually **has a very different aesthetic from the first one, since this one is pink while the other is black**. The sound does shift a little. In my opinion, the songs in this part of the album don’t feel as **“heavy”** as the ones from the first. I’d say the sound of many of them comes across lighter and more tender. Like:

This one is definitely **R&B/pop** in the way Justin usually works, but leaning more toward that 90s R&B vibe, making it one of the less experimental tracks. Honestly, I’m obsessed with the chorus hahaha.

This was the first song I heard before realizing it was part of a whole album hahaha. In this one, he makes certain vocal sounds very similar to Michael Jackson. The genre falls somewhere between **funk-pop and fast-paced R&B**.

**What does this second part mean?**

It’s basically a re-release of his previous album, Swag, the project he dropped a couple of months ago. So, the tracklist of Swag **(21)** combined with Swag II **(23)** makes a single album of **44 songs**. Which makes it way harder to listen to all the way through. Because not only does it get much longer, but it also lacks many of the elements we’re used to, meaning that fewer than 5 songs actually manage to hit with the impact you’d expect. But maybe that wasn’t even Justin’s intention. He wasn’t aiming to do what he always does—the commercial pop that made him famous—since this project is clearly his most personal and vulnerable to date.
