The Dark Shroud Over The Victorian Elections

I want to preface today's article by stating that I am not the person I was back in 2023 and I am significantly impacted mentally, physically, financially and a fragment of the person I was when depicted on stage at the Victorian Labor State Conference. At that stage I was confident and capable in my employment, my business was doing well while I was also at my peak healthiest having competed in natural body building tournaments.

As a father, I spent every moment with my children and was living my best life. I did manage to increase the age of criminal responsibility as we have a growing crime rate related to youth. Having met with the then attorney general Jaclyn Symes of the time. There was no appetite to alter the age of criminal responsibility. But with the full support of Vic Labor state conference floor and Victorian Unions, the rightful owners of the Victorian Labor party we got it done.

This would mean Victoria would need to invest and develop strategies to tackle the growing youth crime as simply putting kids behind a growing youth prison system wasn't and still isn't working.

Unfortunately, I am now barely holding things together.

Recap

For those following along, you would be knowledgeable that things are occurring within the western suburbs of Melbourne and a lot of it encompasses my family and events stemming from local politics as well as our local council, City Of Melton. As matters are before the courts we won't delve into those details but rather report on what others know is coming.

My partner and I are not of political royal blood, I was just a little street rat who grew up in a poor family in government housing and didn't have much prospects in life. Towards the end of my teen years I wanted to make change as did my partner. We wanted more for our community and to ensure the future generations didn't endure what we did.

While I am not a criminal nor have I committed crimes, I don't hide the fact that I have a colourful past. I went through a lot of darkness in my life and survival was what I had to endure. Which made it a humorous element that once I attended University as a mature age students there was an infatuation with anarchism. As someone who was literally born into an anarchistic environment, many of the people around me did not survive. Watching middle class kids take mushrooms and smoke weed while dreaming of experiencing it was a massive wake up call. Many of them would not last a day in pure anarchy.

Lets get to the nitty gritty

I won't continue to bore you with further stories but move on to the upcoming state election and how everyone is on edge to see how much support my partner and I have in our country and if any. As a series of targeted political hits via media and government while have impacted me, have failed in their ultimate goal to dislodge my partners community standing. A lot of the mainstream papers have also not picked up the stories beyond journalists that are politically aligned and have outed themselves in the interim.

pollsters are reporting a Labor win but Labor knows it is likely to lose the western suburbs which is where my partner and I reside. As such they have abandoned the electorates of any strong candidates and put in political no bodies. It is also being reported that Victorian Labor will not be investing funds in trying to win the seats and the candidates will need to fund their own election expenses.

Labor is anticipating me campaigning against them and the west to inflict electoral vengeance at the ballot box. As my partner and I are well known and well heeled in the west, Labor anticipates backlash and may for the first time, lose it's heartland. They retired a minister and a current sitting MP.

This is yet to be proven and I don't hold high hopes that people will actually care what has happened to us, but we have been receiving a lot of support and local community groups have been attending our home to provide food, support and counselling while we go through this hardship and I can not thank them enough.

With me out the way of campaigning, opposition confident they can take the west

I don't want to put tickets on myself and I am not the best campaigner out there. However, our family has led the way in advocacy and fighting politically for over a decade and the opposition has been all over the current split, ceasing the opportunity to call for Victory as they too see the West striking back against Labor for their action against my family and I.

However, local isn't just what's on Labor and Liberal's mind in this election and my little issue is something a lot darker and more broad than many think but many internal strategists do see as a potential risk.

Those close to me do perceive I will counter launch at the election and it will cause heavy political losses while others believe that my issue is irrelevant to most voters beyond the western suburbs and is not a risk.

Those meetings were held prior to the confirmation in the Australian Judicial system that I am in fact having my domestic rights impacted and the cause of it is the local police force including local labor politicians. Many close to Labor are worried and it is now becoming a stresser for the premier especially given in the past I have publicly named the SL and the media has also run it.

Some have asked why the mainstream media has been silent on what has been occurring and it isn't that they have been silent. I have spoken in the past to journalists and they're not all bad. They review the evidence and understand the raw trauma and alleged corruption we are experiencing and the harm it has on our family and our children and do not want to be part of the problem but rather the solution.

The Unknown

So while these are just my political ramblings in todays opinion article this years Victorian State Election is shaking up to be an interesting battle. Sources are tipping Jacinta Allan will be replaced in the new year and I am hopeful in doing so the incoming leadership actually helps me and ends the alleged corruption.

But, just like everyone else. I am wondering if my family and I are as supported by our fellow brothers and sisters as many also believe. Will they strike a blow to Labor over what they have done to us. Labor believes in the west they will hense their selections. Others believe there will be losses in other electorates.

But can someone who grew up as a little street rat from the streets of Sunshine and tried to make positive change, actually be as impactful in an election as people are making out?

We'll have to wait and find out. I would think that Aussies do unite to support each other especially against politicians allegedly doing the wrong thing.
