Hello,holla, bon jour world mappin community and to my lovely readers!How are you guys?I hope everyone is doing fine.
Last 13th of july my uncle invited us to visit again the Capelinha De Fatima Replica in San Remigio,Cebu, Philippines.
Every 13th of july my uncle would always attend the 1st mass in Capelinha and now we came with him.
We woke up at 1:00 am in the midnight since the place is a few minutes in our place and we needed to arrived early so that we can get a space in parking lot.Many locals and tourist would always visit the place every 13th of july.Usually people would arrived a few hours before the mass started since there are already a lot of people in the area.If you want to have a chairs or space to sit,you meed to arrived early.
There are some people who choose to sleep outside the church.
It was a gloomy day and the wind is so cold yet there are still a lot of people.The weather is not a hindrance to the devoters.
When we arrived at the place,there are already a lot of cars in the parking lot, thankfully we still had a space.Before we entered the place my family drink their coffee first except me since I don't drink hot coffee so I had my cup noodles.
After it,we proceed to the place but we choose to stay to the gate area far from the church since the it is already full inside.Even though it is far we still heard the priest.
At 3:00 am the novena started and we had our candle with us in which we bought.The novena was followed by the mass.
In the middle of the mass they procession the saint even though it is still raining.I can see the devoters sacrifices throughout the mass.Some of the people are outside the church holding their umbrella.
It was cloudy but I never expected that the sun would show up.When the mass ended devoters bought some gallon or tumbler so that they could fetch water.The water was blessed by holy water and there are testimony that the water can heal.
While some devoters are busy with the holy water.Some of the people are also busy with their soup.There are catechist who gave a soup to the devoters.
They are the catechist who prepared the soup
I feel so blessed as I had the chance to attend the mass at Capelinha.I've witnessed how bless the people are.
