Hello,holla, bon jour my lovely readers.New day new blog!
We have a fun and spontaneous first week in school.Our SSG officers organized a program that last for 1 week each day have different activities.
For our 3rd day we had a competition each department and has a "Techno Merkado"where each department sell foods and drinks for students and they have a mini stall.
The competition in each department consist of;
IT (Information Technology)department held a competition •Graphic design •Video editing • Photography contest
HM (Hospitality Management department) •Skirting •flair tending •Fruit carving
Industrial Engineering Department •Kaizen project
Education Department •Story telling •Handicraft making •On-the-spot- creation of instructional materials
Among of these,the only competition that I saw is just the flair tending,fruit carving and table skirting.
HM students showcase their skills in carving different kinds of fruits.I really love watching their serious face as they carved the fruits.Well...everyone who participate did a great job,it was well present.I love to see more design of it though.The magic of creativity totally made the outcome unique.They made the simple fruits look expensive.
On the other hand the table skirting started.Participants showcase their creativity when it comes to table skirting.I experience table skirting when I was in my Senior days and I can say that it's not easy.You will get your hands hurt and numb.
I was amazed by the girl who did the table skirting who used yellow cloth.She has a partner but she was the one who does the work.Her partner was just holding and assisting her throughout the process.She was the one who formed the cloth into flowers.
Later on, everyone was enjoying the flair tending,the shout and the tensed of the crowd was there as the participants flipped the glass bottles.Many participants missed to catched the glass bottles that resulted to broken glass.
Once the participants are done with their works,the drinks are served to the audience.I didn't had the chance to taste it since Im not into alcohol.But base on the audience feedback the flavours are well blend.
Everyone was amazed by how the guess participants professionally flip the glass bottles.He is our SSG President and is set to compete in the city.We are so tensed by how he flipped the bottles like he calculated it all.
He flipped together the 3 glass bottles professionally and immediately blend it to other flavours.He left as being amazed by her performance.
In the afternoon,we had a game competition.Each departments have a participants for the games, students are having fun cooperating to the games.Our department's freshmen was so competitive were they cooperate to the games and did their best to win.There is this one student from our department who makes the games more enjoyable and fun.He makes us all laugh.
For the last game we had,the battle of strength and the participants here are just boys.Participants need to pull the rope to drag the other team.
We were amazed by the education department cause they are all gays and they also win the game.They defeated our department and the HM department.
