Hello, Everyone!
How are you doing?
I'm taking a week or two between updates on Mary Windfiddle's story and filling it in with art updates.
This is the used-to-think-she-was-our-friend-Tesaya, once she turned against the party. It was a really tense and heartbreaking moment which is still weighing on my dear Mary.
"What’s going on?" Mary heard Bruno’s voice. "Tesaya, what did you do?!"
"It’s all right, Bruno," Tesaya said; and her voice was changing now. It was becoming hoarse and cruel. "Everything is going according to plan."
The clang of another chain sounded in the chamber. Another enormous slam thundered from underneath. Behind them, something clattered on the wall.
(...)
"Let's all wait for only a few more moments," Tesaya said. "He shall rise, and then we'll talk."
She was standing before the gate, her hand on her waist. Her face… it wasn’t the face Mary knew. Half of it was Tesaya, but the other half was contorted into a monstrous one-sided grin and covered in dragon scales.
This is the colorized version of the illustration. I'm not sure about the 'correctness' of the shading but I feel it gives out the right vibes 😁
Next time - a colorized version of another illustration.
Take care and be well!
If you don't follow me, you might not know what I usually do out here. So, here's a link to 'Mary Windfiddle's Adventures' - the story I've been writing and illustrating for the past three-and-a-half years! Hope you like it! ❤️
