For the next few days, let’s talk about the people your favorite “news sources” and politicians conveniently forgot the ones who stood up to the cartels and got erased because their courage doesn’t fit the official story.
The same media and politicians who pretend they don’t exist, just to hide their own failures. These people paid for it with their lives.
Yeah, apparently speaking the truth is a high-risk activity now.
Most of these murders happened in Michoacán, a place where the cartels basically run their own government controlling the roads, the crops, and sometimes even the cops. It’s a region known for avocados, limes, and… well, violence.
The victims? Not gang members. Not drug lords. We’re talking about mayors, community leaders, farmers, and environmental activists people who simply refused to bow down.
They spoke out about extortion, corruption, and land theft, and in return… they got silence. Permanent silence.
And while investigations technically exist, most of them go nowhere “still under review,” “no suspects identified,” the usual script.
Here’s the reality no one wants to admit:
