It was a beautiful sunny day in Phuket. On our way home from work, the sun was shining bright on the horizon. It was so mesmerizing that the golden rays took me back to the time we were chasing sunset in Cambodia.
I had the best time of my life. We were riding ATVs across Siem Reap's countryside, cutting across ricefields, and racing our way to the perfect sunset spot.
We booked the ATV tour with [Quad Adventure Cambodia](http://www.quad-adventure-cambodia.com). The original plan was for us to each rent out an ATV but Grace failed the driving test (i think she did it on purpose because she mentioned earlier that she was terrified to drive) so she had to ride with me. It made the experience more fun though. We were laughing the whole time.
After some of us passed the driving test, we started our adventure. Our guide led us through neighborhoods with smiling kids waving and cheering us on. I'm sure they see ATV tours passing by everyday, yet the joy in their eyes were radiating with pureness. I found the experience really genuine and that is one of the highlights for me.
With everything around us turning sepia, we made our way through endless rice fields with grazing cows. My heart swelled with the picturesque view while the andrenaline buzzed through my veins as I maneuvered the ATV.
Finally, our Guide detoured and we parked our vehicles in a small clearing. Facing west, we watched the last rays of the sun exploded into gorgeous hues of pink, orange, and blue with a heart-shaped tree perfecting the view. The experience was simply breathtaking.
The best part, I got to share the moment with my 2 favorite persons: Jerome (my fiance) and Grace (one of my closest friends).
