A little issue about hive is that it's hard to "find" hive or hive related project even if you want to.
It start with the non-presance of effective hive findability on major search engines most of the time you will find out about hive(.)com which probably make this similarity on purpose. Even when adding reward to the search the first result is support-play(.)hive(.)com about user missing rewards and the first "real" mention of hive is a few post lower and is about @reward.app. Little challenge for you @ home find a combination of words that instantly find hive and not something else.
Ecency & Peakd & Leofinance are a bit better at SEO (not really they just have a more unique name) and are the first result when searched. Without any surprise steem is even harder to be found because one of the most influent companies on the internet almost have the same name. The issue that come with this is that you have to know what you are looking for before you find it...
Let's search on the two apps i use the most outisde of hive youtube and reddit. On youtube i find related results but probably because i watched related video on this very same account, on reddit niet. You might find the r/hivenetwork but not much more.
The question is know what can we do to get more exposure into hive ?
Maybe we should bring hive into the traditonal social medias, just like the hive twitter account which seems pretty active (no idea how many people it brings though) on the other social medias just like most of the crypto project does and not rely mostly on the user interaction and friends onboarding (make a simple onboard site + explains how hive works + "base rules") and give a small HP/RC delegation to these new users, then with more users dapps can start using advertisment as a reward model and stop depending on the DHF reward pool -> reduce the inflation and use leftover from ads to buy more hive.
That's the ideal world. What are your ideas ?
