Hello dear friends in the LikeTo community 🌸 This is Menati, and today I’d like to share a collection of groom portraits we recently captured along with his video coverage.
It was a wonderful day, and the photos you see here were taken right after the groom stepped out of the salon. My focus in this series was mostly on portraits and half-body shots, as I personally love this style. However, I also included a few wider frames, especially the one taken inside the studio.
One of the photos shows the groom leaning by a window, where his reflection also appears on the glass — a detail that made the composition more interesting for me. Later, I positioned him between two frames and captured a close shot with my 24-70 lens.
To keep the mood natural, I asked him not to look directly at the camera but rather into the distance. This gave the images a more authentic and lively feel. I also took several shots while he was walking and buttoning his suit, using AF-C focus tracking for accurate captures.
Inside the studio, we photographed him in the groom’s suite, and I selected one highlight photo from that series for this post. In addition to portraits, I also focused on details such as the watch, ring, and bouquet to complete the styling.
As always, I paid special attention to lighting — whether natural or artificial — to balance shadows and highlights. All photos were captured in RAW format to preserve quality and details.
I hope you enjoy this collection, and I’d love to hear your thoughts and experiences 🙏 Until next time, goodbye.
