 Hola linda comunidad, 💕 En esta oportunidad les quiero recomendar un k-drama que vi hace poco, justo a inicios de año. Decidí ver alguna serie en maratón, así que recordé una que tenía pocos capítulos y además estaba siendo muy comentada en esos días: **“When the Phone Rings”.**

However, he ignores the warnings and hangs up the phone. Hee-joo loses all hope in her supposed husband, but manages to save herself from the situation. From that moment on, their marriage will undergo many changes because of the kidnapper's threats.

Antes de verlo sabía que estaba basado en un webtoon, pero nunca había escuchado de él, así que me tomó desprevenida en varios aspectos del desarrollo. En lo personal, me gustó bastante la **química de la pareja principal**. Es cierto que una vez más caemos en los clichés de un protagonista frío, millonario e inalcanzable, pero debo admitir que siempre me gusta cómo los dramas coreanos logran hacer que funcione bien. Lo que sí noté es que algunos capítulos se sentían algo lentos para llegar al clímax de la historia. Y, en lo personal, no me convenció el final que le dieron. Después de todo lo que los protagonistas pasaron para poder estar juntos, me pareció un desenlace con más sufrimiento y espera innecesaria. Aunque lo comenté con un amigo que también la vio y, para él, ese final fue perfecto.

For me, this drama brought several surprises. Before watching it, I knew it was based on a webtoon, but I had never heard of it, so I was caught off guard in several aspects of the plot. Personally, I really liked the chemistry between the main couple. It's true that once again we fall into the clichés of a cold, millionaire, and unattainable protagonist, but I must admit that I always like how Korean dramas manage to make it work well. What I did notice is that some episodes felt a bit slow in reaching the climax of the story. And, personally, I wasn't convinced by the ending they gave it. After everything the protagonists went through to be together, I found it to be an ending with more suffering and unnecessary waiting. Although I mentioned this to a friend who also watched it, and for him, that ending was perfect.
