Visiting a New Place, Chasing Good Deals [Eng/Esp]

 Hello, nice community💕 As I told you in my last post, I went out with my friends to watch the sunset and, as in each of our outings, we always have to feed ourselves; after so much talk it is necessary to eat. Our first idea was to order sushi, because we had recently heard that a new business had opened with home deliveries. The promotion they had that day and our budget fit, but the problem was that we were six people and the promo included 30 rolls for $15. So we let that option go and looked for something that would really satisfy us all. Anyway, I'm still intrigued by that sushi and as soon as I can I'll give it a try

Hola, linda comunidad💕 Como les comenté en mi último post, salí con mis amigos a ver el atardecer y, como en cada una de nuestras salidas, siempre tenemos que alimentarnos; después de tanta charla es necesario comer. Nuestra primera idea fue pedir sushi, porque habíamos escuchado hace poco que había abierto un negocio nuevo con entregas a domicilio. La promoción que tenían ese día y nuestro presupuesto se ajustaban, pero el problema era que éramos seis personas y la promo incluía 30 rolls por $15. Así que dejamos ir esa opción para buscar algo que realmente nos dejara satisfechos a todos. De todas formas, sigo intrigada por ese sushi y en cuanto pueda le daré una oportunidad.

   One of my friends suggested going to a restaurant called **Pollos Niko**, because it had been recommended to him at some point. None of us knew it, so we headed to the place. I don't have pictures because there were several families eating and it seemed disrespectful to take a picture of the space, but I can tell you that the place is quite spacious and, besides, it has air conditioning, which is super important on this island. There was no menu on the menu, but there was a big blackboard with promotions. My friends and I took a long time to decide which one to choose because we were really hungry. In the end we opted for the $14,99 promo, and to our surprise we discovered that they also sold 2 for $1 bars, so we practically had dessert included.

Uno de mis amigos propuso ir a un restaurante llamado **Pollos Niko**, porque se lo habían recomendado en algún momento. Ninguno de nosotros lo conocía, así que nos dirigimos al local. No tengo fotos porque había varias familias comiendo y me parecía irrespetuoso tomarle foto al espacio, pero puedo decirles que el lugar es bastante amplio y, además, tiene aire acondicionado, lo cual es súper importante en esta isla. No había un menú en carta, pero sí un gran pizarrón con las promociones. Mis amigos y yo tardamos bastante en decidir cuál escoger porque realmente teníamos mucha hambre. Al final optamos por la promo de $14,99, y para nuestra sorpresa descubrimos que también vendían barquillas en promoción 2x$1, así que prácticamente tuvimos postre incluido.

  To be honest, I didn't like the chicken that much. It wasn't bad, but since it was broaster style, at some points I ended up eating seasoned flour and not chicken. Other than that, it was pretty good, and the nacelles, for that price, I'd say they are worth it. In the end, my friends came to the conclusion that maybe the rotisserie chicken is a better option, maybe we'll find out on another visit. Si les soy honesta, el pollo no me gustó tanto. No estaba malo, pero como era estilo broaster, en algunos momento terminaba comiendo harina condimentada y no pollo. Por lo demás, estuvo bastante bien, y las barquillas, por ese precio, diría que sí valen la pena. Al final, mis amigos llegaron a la conclusión de que quizás el pollo rostizado sea una mejor opción, tal vez lo descubramos en otra visita.
